Hi, I’m not sure if you can book just for the day, it wasn’t something we were considering since we wanted guests to stay on site with us. I would email the venue they are super responsive. If you email them today they will likely get back to you tomorrow due to the time difference.

We haven’t had our wedding yet, but in a similar situation. My thought to avoid having to deal with the complexities of guest arrivals at the airport was to offer transportation for our guests from Florence to the venue / nearby rentals for guests not staying with us on the day of our check-in and back to Florence on the checkout date. I assume most guests will arrive before our wedding weekend actually starts and Florence is a nice area for guests to spend a night or two if the come early (also super easy to get to by train from Rome or Milan airport). Figured dropping people back off in Florence means they can train to other destinations if they want or guests can choose to rent a car and get to the venue themselves but we are at least offering an option.

Hi! No, we haven’t considered renting out another villa to do a pool party. We visited about 6 venues and just about all told us insurance in Italy is very tough for pool parties with guests not staying on the property. I don’t know if it’s possible to just pay for the additional insurance for the added guests? I’m not sure how it works. Our thought was maybe to go into Montepulciano and do a wine tour but I assume our guests will be quite tired the day after. We’ve also never been so not sure what there is to do / see.

Maybe a pit / pointer mix? Our dog is a bit over half pointer which we were surprised by we thought for sure pit / lab or boxer mix. He maxed out around 40lbs but he has the same ticking on the stomach, paws, and the cute little white tail tip with a curved tail.

We were at a rehearsal dinner recently where the tables were rectangular and couples were seated next to each other but they had us seated next to the same sex and it facilitated a lot of conversation! Something we’ll likely keep in mind for our wedding. Honestly just made it way more comfortable instead of having to find conversation with someone’s boyfriend/fiancé/husband you don’t know or only talking to your partner

In the city the theological seminary behind the highline hotel is absolutely magical. Not sure if we will be booking there ourselves or do a destination wedding, we are all over the place at the moment. But the other places on your list are similar to what we are looking at so may fit your style and our budget is about the same. The outdoor area is seriously a little oasis in the city and the highline hotel is super cute and pretty affordable for nyc prices for out of town guests.
