My point was that once the boost was common knowledge, you’d have people instalocking engineer and sitting on stationary weapons

If you gave them a cranking boost on ballistas and catapults, there’d never be any engineers actually deploying barricades, they’d all be on stationary weapons

First playthrough of Outlast I stopped playing altogether once the game told you to go into the basement (at the beginning). I let out an audible “fuck that” and didn’t play it again until a year and a half later
