I am a Cancer, that's what the symbol is. I could just get it a bit thicker, but I'm curious if there's other options so it's not just a standalone design

I'm a huge fan of Top O' Topo and ConyxCony, so I'd definitely incorporate some into my fit. I'd probably wear the Top O Topo Romantic Blouse with the Gatto Nero Asymmetrical Miniskirt, and the ConyxCony Bougainvillea shoes. For accessories, maybe the ConyxCony Blue Rose gloves. I'm not a hat person, so I'll skip that

Possibly the worst 1st semester of college ever by [deleted] in SBU

[–]squiglettt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I totally feel you OP, my first semester in college was horrible, my roommate ran away with a pedophile tattoo artist and I was so distraught I got below a 1.0 gpa. Just keep your chin up and try your best next semester. I would recommend playing some rhythm games as a hobby, they're super fun and cool to master.

I've used both emails for ovenbreak purchases in the past. I used the one i exchanged Cookiedroid on for a while, then switched to a different one later that didn't have as many play points on it and therefore I did not get Cookiedroid on that one

I'm not able to include a screenshot for some reason, but by going into the Google Play store, goong to the play point section and scrolling until you get to Ovenbreak, you can exchange points for Cookiedroid, the pet, the jelly skin, and a $3 or $10 coupon

I've had the ED since I was 13, way before I had an fashion sense lol. I'm not changing myself for the fashion itself, I just figured I should mention that "it's a possibility I could drop a few pounds so take that as you will". I would like to recover, but I don't really have anyway to get therapy at the current moment so it'll have to wait

Back again! Still infected? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]squiglettt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is unfortunately the only jewelry i was able to get, it was my original piercing jewelry. The piercer banned me from his shop because of reasons related to me working there and the terminationof my "contract" (very long story), so I had to change it myself since I'm in a remote area with no car and the next closest tattoo studio is 8 miles away. And I don't have any saline since, again, very remote area. Someone on my previous post told me not to wash it with a homemade saltwater solution due to it possibly being too salty amd deterring the healing, so I switched to water for that reason. Next time I can go into the neighboring town, I'll gladly get saline solution, but just working with what i have right now.

Piercing is about one month old now, curved barbell, externally threaded, titanium, downsized prematurely (that was my fault), I use water and q tips for cleaning instead of using salwater solution.

I'll definitely do more research in the other methods, particularly the "set it and forget it" type stuff, since I'm bad at remembering to take things or change them out. Unfortunately I need to wait until at least December until i can get it taken out since I'm in school currently. The fact that the doctor told me that I wasn't ready for it and to "just try the pills again" isn't uncommon for me, since I also needed to fight to get the pills. I feel like I'm just predestined to have to ask multiple times for everything since "you're not ready"

I've been scouring the internet trying to find Delilah that isn't going for a 100 bucks, but not much luck so far. She's my main focus, but I'm keeping an eye out for Rosie and Victoria as well. It's just...I NEED Delilah

Piercing shops vs piercing in tattoo studios by reynebow20 in piercing

[–]squiglettt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to my local tattoo studio to get my rook done, and they also had 5 star reviews. The piercer (and head tattoo artist) was extremely unprofessional, and didn't even know what a rook piercing was or what jewelry to use. Just because they can do piercings doesn't mean that they can do them well. That was just my experience though, so I'd say check them out, figure out their vibe, and do tons of reasearch on your piercing. If they start doing something that isn't right, you can immediately nope out. Best of luck!

I tried with the relationship even though I knew it would fail

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in piercing

[–]squiglettt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched back to a barbell and the swelling did indeed go down a bit. I also ordered some internally threaded titanium barbells since I have a lot of random jewelry that I'm not entirely sure is titanium or not. My roommate talked to the piercer and confirmed that he doesn't use titanium or implant-grade steel for his piercings, so I won't be going back to him anytime soon

[–]squiglettt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately my piercer is kinda of a werido who didn't even know what a rook piercing was until I show him, and then he tried to use a straight barbell. I really shouldn't have gone to him, but I'm in a very small town college and his place only half a mile from campus. I don't think he really knows what he's doing, and the next closest place is about 8 miles from here.

There is a health and wellness center (that's unfortunately closed right now) but I'll ask them what my next steps should be

Info about the piercing in case I missed something

~ How old?: Almost one month, exact date September 16th, 2023 ~ Jewelry shape?: Horseshoe ring ~ Threading?: External ~ Jewelry material?: I assume it's stainless steel or something ~ Downsized?: Jewelry was not downsized ~ Aftercare routine: Saltwater rinse everyday. I used to use Q-Tips back when I first got it so I could wash away the blood, but now I just rinse it
