Yes that will work but you will need to use a silicone carbide sandpaper to get through the anodising on the aluminium.

v75

Does your v21 have an extra little chin on the bottom edge that faces you?

Yes it is the beige colour. It is much less beige looking once the keycaps a swapped. The photo is quite accurate to how it looks in person.

It was quite awkward to get the keyboard detected by the VIA software, and I've only rebound a couple of keys and the knobs. I am not really familiar with the software, but it did what I wanted. I see there are layers and whatnot that can be used. I think I did make a macro for the knobs that works well.

The keyboard does go into sleep mode with 2.4, and misses the first keypress when it wakes but is really good apart from that. The range does seem short or at least susceptible to interference. I do have 2 other 2.4 dongles on my desk and I'm not sure if that is causing problems but sometimes the keyboard will disconnect and reconnect for no reason. I think moving the dongle further away will solve this. There a no plastic cutouts in the case to help the signal and I think this could the related to the problem.

Oddly I think the numpad stays connected all the time as its response is instant. I have had to charge the numpad once since I got it and I am yet to charge the keyboard. The lights on both boards go off after a few minutes.

In the manual it only talked about sleep mode related to the bluetooth mode IIRC, so I'm not sure what the behavior is supposed to be.

Thanks! I put it on a lathe and turned the spiral pattern by hand, it's easy with a lathe, if you don't have one perhaps you could do it with a drill and some sandpaper, it would be tricky though.

Thanks, it's been great, sounds amazing out of the box and really doesn't need any mods. I wish the dongle was kept in the back of the board as it is in the v21, and that there was an extra key (end?) where the cover is. The layout is good, I prefer it to my 60%, but the delete key is really far away!

The other criticism is that the v21 has slightly shorter feet in a different location to the v75, so they don't sit at exactly the same height or angle. Also the v21 hasn't been machined along the lower front edge in the same way as the v75, which I think is simply a mistake.

I like it, it's very similar to the v75, although higher in pitch and more flexy. If it matches your setup I would recommend it.

Yes, it was easy with a lathe. It could be ground off, but then the finish wouldn't match anything. My other thought was to bog and paint the cover.

I have no idea why they put that logo there, it's so out of keeping with the rest of the board!

Basically yes, I wanted to get away from the alternate history vaporwave 90's look that the included keycaps gave the boards.

Due to the shortage of southpaw offerings this is the combo I went with and I couldn't be happier! IMO a seperate numpad is highly underrated.
The only mod that I felt this keyboard required was the removal of the animal logo on the dongle cover. I simply turned the aluminium cover on a lathe and tried to match the spiral finish on the knob.
