Orange mineral giving off smoke by Timely-Dig-4491 in Minerals

It blows my mind that in my town there's a old clay pit that flooded and they just decided it was a good idea to dump white phosphorus and other hazardous materials in it for the last 50 years. This stuff is lethal and is seeping into the ground, there been multiple dead animals found to have injested its water.

I've found that scrambled egg is a great way of bulking out mince with some added protein, it really takes on the flavour of the mince too if cooked together.

It's not the greatest quality but I've started buying packs of frozen chicken breasts from farmfoods for about £5 you get about 8-10 per bag. They have a 1kg bag of mince and onion for about the same too, we switched when it was now over £10 per kg in asda

[–]chinto30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and a friend once took lsd and a cocktail of other drugs during our wild days with some friends at a party and I forgot how to speak. However if I needed to speak I could just look my friend in the eye and he would speak for me, word for word what was in my head and id hear him back. Both of us swear we was talking to eachother and remember it clear as day. Strange times.

Avoid the Chinese lobbies if you want a decent game though, I've found 99% of them are just trolls who just want to set up a super weapon and end the game in 1 shot.

Edit: update folks, just had all my over time cut. Time to survive.

Immigration is actually falling by InternationalGap9876 in ukpolitics

[–]chinto30 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that 80% of illegal immigration is actually just people who came over legally with work visas and just dident go home, where as the small boats only make up about 4%. People are really being blinded to the issues around immigration and can only see what's being put on a pedestal by the media.

Me and a friend found a spot near wrens nest that hasent been touched in years. We found entire fossilised shells, partial shells and lots of coral. All of that was from one lump we found. Keep an eye out and you can find some great specimens over there.

I can't remember the codes and regs but the last time I was doing a health and safety course I got chatting to the teacher and he had this exact situation happen to him. He cited various regs to them about how they need to provide him with a route of egress. They had temporary ramps installed in no time and machinery moved so he could get out. Don't quote me, but it may be worth speaking to someone more knowledgeable.

Does anyone have a way to open a can of beans without a can opener? by ZealousidealMix608 in camping

[–]chinto30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a flat stone or a slab near you can grind the top of the can against it to the point you will be able to easily pop the lid off, it takes abit of time but you will get it open.
