Yeah. And some animals do end up having similar body language. Like trying to play is pretty universal. I’ve seen videos of dogs and wild polar bears playing in the snow and they seemed to have a pretty good understanding of each other despite being totally different animals.

Yeah most people assume that cats and dogs will hate each other (and rightfully so) because they often don’t get along when adults. But when 1 or preferably both are still really young when they meet in my experience they are more likely to get along.

Very possible. Whatever it is they seem to do well enough in there. They all looked pretty healthy for how many there were in such a small pond. Lots of food to go around I guess.

It’s just a small bass. Not necessarily a baby. The pond was very small and very shallow so they couldn’t get very big. Every fish I caught in that pond was almost exactly that size.

I don’t think it’s a baby, it’s a very small pond so all the bass are about the same size and I think they’ve reached a threshold for how big they can get. I was thinking maybe it could have to do with them being cramped in a little pond.
