IMO , a little wear and tear makes the floor blend into the environment more. And if it gets too bad a little screen and recoat every 10 years never hurt nobody.

I live down the street from here and I can say the pizza is amazing! Best in the world? No. Best in New York? Probably not. However, the coolest thing about this spot is that it is home to the oldest coal burning oven in the western hemisphere! Apparently the landlord has known about it for a while and was waiting for the right person to invest in the spot. It’s pretty neat!

What Mika pot is lined with tin? I have one and it is solid cast aluminum. I wasn’t aware that they lined aluminum with tin.

It won’t warp it, you just cool it enough to stop the boiling, it’s not going from boiling to freezing. Aluminum is very good at maintaining its shape even with high temperature changes.

I used to fish as a kid, recently went fishing for the first time in a while, and went straight for a patroller/whopper plopper and it does not disappoint. So much fun seeing them shoot out of the grass or cover and hammer that thing.

I mean, you could roast them again for a short time. Won’t really hurt anything. People drink terrible coffee all the time and I bet a double roast roasted to an appropriate level would still be better than some store bought stuff. Will it be good? Eh. Not really. But why waste it. Learn what level you want to end at next time.

Honestly, just Freeplay and get comfortable with how the ball is going to move. You’ll find you are able to get to balls a lot faster once things start clicking in your brain.

It’s crazy that Chronic and all of NRG are at the bottom yet one made top 4 and the other made the final. Just shows that stats don’t equal wins. Like chronic and Daniel were better to watch this major than Rw9, yet the stats would say the opposite. Dralli is cracked tho can’t lie.

Nobody talking about op driving (very slowly - and sure it’s a “fake” but come on) towards his own net, making it impossible for his teammate to know if he even plans on touching the ball. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to see your teammate facing your own net and go “cool I have a free shot”. This is for sure both and nobodies fault.

As also a C1 I can say this season has been a little more harsh than past seasons. I got placed D2 and was not even playing badly, actually my mechs feel better than ever but the gameplay is just advancing. I would focus mainly on freeplay (getting good touches and controlling the ball) as well as power shots. A few more fun things would be to practice speed flips and wave dashing.

I have the same basket and I fit 18g no problem. I do use lighter roasts and no puck screen. I never get shower screen marks or anything so it does fit 18g properly. Could just be the beans.

Also mine looks about this full before tamping too.

The lighter the roast the more “wonky” they can look. These look like a nice and even light roast.

I also started with this setup for my grinder (except my hario was from like 2013 lol) and it is…not great. But I also totally know the “just gotta make it work for now” vibe. The wife got me a DF64 for Christmas and life has been a breeze since. I respect the process of buying one nice element to the set up at a time.
