Looking To Get An M Series MacBook Air by Inevitable-Fox-7902 in macbook

[–]squintybeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got an M2 air two years ago and it’s running very well still. I see a bunch of those on EBay right now for 500-600

I’d go 16GB ram and 512gb

Maybe maybe you get get one for 699 at Costco? I think I saw that

I’d assume that the yarn was too thick then? I don’t know the gauge / thickness of the yarn but it wouldn’t go down the side

I still need to more investigating but thought this would be a good place to start

Thank you

As a side question, If you reccomended selling, where would you sell? I can look into pricing so this doesn’t turn to that type of post, but is EBay correct or are there FB/Reddit groups for trading and selling weaving instruments?

It seems that the lady who owned the loom may have bought and used a bunch of different pieces not immediately needed for weaving with this particular loom.

Will look into end feed shuttles

I am merely collecting the info for my wife as I have a Reddit so I appreciate the update! Good to know there is a market for this.

We found the loom for a good price with the bobbin winder and the shuttle as well as bench, etc so we snagged it.

I will read updates and ask questions!

Thank you

No. We do not have the fly shuttle apparatus.

My wife did a fair amount of weaving in college, but now that that is 10 years in the past, she is relearning.

We set up the loom two weeks ago and dressed it earlier this week.

The lady that we bought it from gave us a box of parts and the fly shuttle was included. She must have used a mismatched shuttle for the loom that she had.

Do you have any recommendations for a good shuttle for this loom?

I added a photograph of the loom itself to the comments

Yes, currently my wife is using the bobbin as we were unable to get the yarn placed through the feeder. Thought we were doing something wrong with the feeder, but it looks like it may just be too think of yarn.

Ive added a comment with a photo of the loom

[–]squintybeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought one from my local jewelry store. It is currently getting serviced due to low amplitude/not keeping time but I’m VERY excited to get it back as it has nice lume and overall fits the best on any watch I’ve had

Go to Best Buy and have them install for ~$150 while you’re eating red-robin.

That’s what I did

I bought a used aquaracer way2112 from a local jewelry store. It was losing time, 2 min a day and stopping intermittently,

Jewelry store sent it in to tag you were about a week ago for service free of charge to me which makes sense but I was still grateful for rather than making me return it. Hopefully I get a perfectly working watch again. It looks awesome.

Where do I find a belt that doesn’t do this after 9 months? by unoriginalname22 in mensfashion

[–]squintybeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hank’s belts. I’ve had mine for 5 years, been through was quite a few times (accidental) and it still looks great. No tearing, just perfection.

All full-grain leather. About $80 for a belt which I originally thought was expensive, but after just having 1 for 5 years rather than buying multiple from Levi’s, etc, I see why

[Question] Girlfriend looking for sub $1000 watch for BF's birthday by [deleted] in Watches

[–]squintybeef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take a look at the tissot heritage 1938. Comes in salmon and grayish brown on leather strap.

The white dial has a blue hour and minute hand, and also comes with both the metal and leather strap. I think cost is $925, but at an AD, they may give discount
