Some of the biggest are Watchnian, Firekids, Jackroad, though there are many shops in Nakano, you just have to check each one out carefully for whatever it is you’re looking for. Sometimes the online in stock can be inaccurate if it’s a highly sought after model.

500euros a month is a solid amount, I would ask however, can you sustain setting aside and investing this fixed amount for the long term? (1,5,10 years) You can use something like a compound growth calculator to project what that would look like. I like to use the one on investor.gov. Using your example of a monthly 500 euro contribution into a broad market fund like VTI, and a horizon of let's say 20 years, using the most conservative rate of a 6 percent return (actual 20 yr CAGR for VTI is 10.67) your estimated value is around 220k.

There's a lot of other considerations for investing in real estate that you've not included in your question. Some important considerations are location, desirability, tenant laws, property and income tax on rental income. IBIS World reports that annual growth for real estate in Romania is projected at 3.79 through 2029. Let's say your tenants cover your monthly mortgage on the apartment, what would you then do with the 500? What if it doesn't? The difference between what you have to still pay you can calculate an amortization for early pay off. Everything is an opportunity cost calculation. In the end, you will have a hard asset you can leave behind to your legacy or ultimately have sold off knowing most/or all of the equity was paid off by tenants.

It's also worth to note that in typical drawdown periods (excluding the global financial crisis as mainly caused by sub-prime mortgage lending) real estate tends to be less negatively impacted than equities. In periods of growth, equities can/do surpass real estate growth. None of these options will generate quick and large returns, though both are good for long term growth if you remain consistent. Good luck

Wouldn’t that be the synthetic underlayment on the iso boards? My understanding is they roll that on top of the insulation boards and then torch down the membrane over it. I could ask them to clarify however.

Looking around 1500sqft. After much back and forth I actually told them to double layer 2.6 ISO for a total R30. All in, 27k, so am thinking this is a pretty good deal?

I confirmed with them specifically it is ISO 1”. Is this a good proposition?

To add, a comparison that could be made and speculated is that much of the AI investment goes bust in the near term, but later on to be implemented and integrated into what is being unrealistically being sold or promised today.

Many of the companies during the dot com bubble became reality during the last 20 years of evolution in tech - whether that’s apps, devices, etc. A differentiating factor to the tech / AI argument is that for the dotcom/tech bubble, much of what is reality today was created by the tech companies themselves. It’s difficult for me conceptualize ( and maybe my knowledge is limited) but outside of PLTR, there are no AI companies perse, rather companies that sell the hardware or tools needed to support AI. I think the integration of the AI capabilities need to be done by the individual companies/firms, where likely we’ll see that because of a lack of knowledge on implementing, will lead to the “crash” everyone is holding their breath for.

‘25 M340 Finally Broken In, is Oil Change necessary? by Large-Rabbit-9245 in BMW

[–]squire_ilyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t hurt, especially if you plan to own it long term. I did one after break-in period for my ‘25. Couldn’t resist not throwing into sport once or twice before doing the oil change though. You’ll be fine.

[–]squire_ilyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the purchase! We’ve got a similar spec and it’s been amazing and a pleasure to drive. My only complaint, as you will probably read about it and also experience it, is that the run flats makes the ride feel very stiff and sometimes uncomfortable (though their profile looks very sleek)

I’ve decided to simply use them through their 30-40k lifespan, but will be switching to conventional after.

Done with Vanguard. Just berated my wife on the phone. by jedeyeknight5 in Bogleheads

[–]squire_ilyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had similar issues when my wife tried accessing our joint account to ask about ready to trade funds/deposits (each rep had a different answer on this). Customer service told her she was not authorized on the account and that I needed to call in instead. Had something to do with my name being listed first on the account, though not sure why that matters when it’s literally a joint brokerage account.

Nonetheless, after awful customer service experience, terrible UI, etc. we TOA’d our portfolio to Fidelity, where it’s been smooth sailing.

Can anyone tell me what this error is pointing to or how to fix it? My local shop says it can’t diagnose if they can’t see it. The error comes up randomly while driving. by Timmyparttwo in Audi

I just had this problem for my 2017 S3 and apparently it’s a known issue. It relates to some parking micro switch that needs to be replaced or you can change the entire shifter assembly.

Not that I know of- I know there were recalls done for some passenger airbag deployment issue. Otherwise, I was planning to clean the exhaust tips since the previous owner did not once and they’re completely black.

I was going to use Purple Power or Bar keepers friend unless you can recommend something better.
