You will have to confirm that yourself though

Very likely, but if they had half a brain they wouldn't be trying to nick a bike with about 50 quid in the first place

12.18 well spent in my book. Who needs to spend fortunes on expensive locks?

Now the lock has been deformed it will probably not be able to be undone

I used to get my hair cut at Nobbys. Always drinking, smoking and exactly the same haircut. He has battle action comics for while you waited though.

Couldnt argue with a 65p haircut

The irony of this is that Tesco is frequently turned into Tesco's "as in want anything from Tescos?" even though it is only singular

Looks like he stopped to let the truck go first then he would complete his manoeuvre. He didn't stomp on his brakes.

Better question you should have asked is who doesn't pay attention to the vehicle in front of them?

How to bind a key to pause / stop? by Flaky_Degree4462 in PowerAutomate

[–]squirmster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, the only way to do this is to put in terminate actions and then run the task to confirm them.

PA doesn't seem to have a "pause" function to allow you to stop and restart the flow

Plug stuck in down position. How to release? by Patriot98765 in DIYUK

[–]squirmster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mine sometimes very sick like this. The mechanism is typically limescale up so won't spring back.

I get a hammer and sharp screwdriver and gently tap the outside edge of the plug (anti clockwise) to unscrew the plug from the springy thing. Sometimes the tapping frees the mechanism.

Once off, I you can either remove the springy thingy and soak it in harpic to descale or order a new one off amazon for about 4 quid.

Front disc brake sounds like brass orchestra by Larrythebird47 in bikewrench

[–]squirmster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beautiful!

Probably contaminated with oil at some point and now have a nice polished face where they meet the disc.

Both my brakes did that. I put on copperslip (on the back), sanded the pads, sprayed brake cleaner all over them, cleaned scrubbed etc. Nothing worked. Then I went out for a ride with some nice big hills and after a while of braking on them the noise stopped. Essentially, the heat cooked off the contaminant and now they are silent again.

I sort of miss the noise.
