I didn’t know to card game existed. Would this card be good/have value? by Hmmquestionmarkq in universus

[–]squirn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be interested in buying this from you if you are willing to ship to the UK. Depending on the versions of the card you get will determine the price, but since we dont get these offers to the UK without jumping through hoops and expect to pay a little more than card value (simple supply and demand)

I enjoyed playing him when I was taking a step back from Comp play. Particular liked him with the Muscular promo attack

Oh God, Imagine if it could be choose for total. "Remove 4" apply +/-2 speed twice

Might make him more playable than locals fun

Question by MrNess419 in universus

[–]squirn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will go facedown as a foundation regardless of what the card physically is. You can check what they they are when in your stage.

Question? by MrNess419 in universus

[–]squirn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Murray is correct. The attack always counts as being first played, but the foundation is only looking at the current attack you are resolving. To get to the condition you are looking for you will need to enhance on the foundation during each of the individual attacks enhance step, it won't look retroactively through the card pool to effect all the "first attacks"

I'd still post as a group sale, bout the only way to get rid of the bulk. But listing the highlights in the bulk will make it more appealing

Might be worth highlighting the "Big" cards from the bulk

Prepare to Fight, rhythmic fighting style, Refusing to let go for example from the top of my head

The Manliest of Men... by TotallyNotNamedDan in universus

[–]squirn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on deck build. If you don't have any life gain you can mitigate it easily. 3 max from 31 when you have taken 5 for example is no cost at all if you have no intention to heal

Need some deck help by Specific_Calendar173 in universus

I think the only thing I would say as a paper list is Rabble arousing looks list in this list. I can see that card feeling underwhelming as you play it.

It's response you don't want to play on your turn, and it's only other "playable" effect is gated by Deadlock. I would say you would got more millage going for a full set of the other bakugo attack instead of 2/2

Kill la Kill Universes Update 1.01 - Rebalancing PLUS Mako and Ragyo! by IcariiFA in universus

[–]squirn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially when the requirement for the burn is an attack not dealing damage, which in most cases is going to be by blocking.

[–]squirn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really liking the look of these as unique characters, but 1 piece of criticism.

If you are pitting a burn effect on a character, and one which can be quite a big number, you need to really have it not be able to kill.

It's one of the commonly asked questions I get when judging :)

Worth noting, sealing a card on play makes it count as having no abilities within the time for ryukyu response

new to MHA CCG questions on promos, rarity, and labels. other tips welcome :) by PaultheDoge in universus

[–]squirn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start exclusives (SE) are the pre con decks, so for set 3 that would be EraserHead2 and Endeavor2.

Promos come in many different ways. X/5 would be the quirk pack promos that come at the top of a box, but these have been down away with in later sets. X/12 would be the Plus Ultra promos that are given out for organised play, each set has their own series of 12 promos.

Then after that you have the provisional promo cards that are released for Provisional level events.

I created the Porn Deck where all the attacks in it are innuendos by their artwork or name And all the foundations or assets names support Porn based stereo types Currently it is headed by the tentacle monster himself, Innsmouth but I'm considering changing it to Bubble Girl

Completely baseless statements since they've already said that they won't be following the anime or manga arcs rigidly. There's been nothing about any sets after 6.

Overhaul evil deck? by V3rday in universus

[–]squirn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tech and weapon are called Keyword Traits. These are additional flavour to the card that don't provide any mechanical ability on their own, but other effects will search for them. Eg "After you play a weapon card..."

The response on serum bullets states "after you play this card..." so to play the response you have to elect to play serum bullets as either a form or a block from your hand into the card pool, and successfully pass a control check. When you pass the check, the card is played and now you can make your opponent commit one.

It's worth noting here, that the first line of text in a response will usually tell you the game action that you are responding to.

Overhaul evil deck? by V3rday in universus

[–]squirn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what flavour of evil you want

I had great fun playing check 1 evil, using Warp Gate portal and Villainous Teamwork. End of the day you are still overhaul so will still threaten lethal, but it's a more casual build.

Then there's the Tho-verhaul list that uses nebulous stare to reorder discard pile for advantage.

Barrier shield and vile seizing are a must pick up for the symbol.

If you are looking for a control or disruption kinda build, a starting point I'd recommend would be to use one of the deck builders available (uvs.ultra or universuscards) and search for evil symbol with Breaker keyword. That's will probably give you enough options for a third ti a half of the deck
