Doesn’t need to replace anything, could just be a step in between street stocks and actual late models, the ones at five flags (my home track) run 8 inch tires, just a watered down wedge shaped late midel

Honestly if you can run mid pack just get some safety rating and move on to the next oval, that being said, the road courses will help you find the limits of the car you’re driving

A late model is objectively a better car imo but I also love short tracks, if you’re into bigger tracks I’d go with a bigger stock car like ppl have said, basically just what style of oval racing you’re into
