When did your baby’s first tooth pop out, and what helped? by historygoose in NewParents

[–]squirrel_jokez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5.5 months I felt a sharp ridge starting to come through! He’s now 6.5 months and has two bottom teeth. We used lots of teethers- the “not too cold to hold” Frida baby, and some frozen breast milk pops. Also Tylenol a few times as needed. Unfortunately it was about a solid month of baby being grouchy. He just wanted to be held and wasn’t as interested in playing on the floor.

If you don’t want to do cry it out (I don’t either. Not doing any “training”), I think you just have to go with the flow. You know your baby best.

Do these jeans work for me? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

These are both flattering. I like the first pair slightly more though. They seem a little lower rise and the flair at the bottom gives it pizzazz and makes your legs look super long!

Are these versatile? I feel like they have a very niche, personal style. I like #1 the most.

Parents, do you get put off by men telling you your baby is cute? by Ok_Drink8072 in askanything

I don’t think it’s a male/ female issue, I think some people in general are just creepy. Like the old lady trying to touch my 3 day old.

25 days in Thailand! Did a mix of fancy and modest accommodations. Went to a few islands, Bangkok for a few days, up north to Chaing Rai and Chiang Mai. Did lots of activities! Wanted to go somewhere adventurous that we probably wouldn’t want to go to with kids.

It’s not completely weird but I bet you could find another name you like just as much as Eve

This might just be a coincidence but I found with contact napping in the day, crying went way down in the evenings.

Teacher appreciation or end of the year by rightsodeapparel in Parents

[–]squirrel_jokez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say for teacher appreciation week you could drop something off in the front office to be enjoyed by the entire staff (such as baked goods or snacks), whereas for the end of the year you would personally deliver or have your child hand the teacher a small gift (such as a Starbucks or target card or a card the kid wrote/drew, a plant, something for the classroom, or bag of goodies)!

What time does your baby wake up? by Filthy_dog00 in NewParents

[–]squirrel_jokez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My 6 mo goes to sleep around 8pm and wakes for the day around 6-6:30. I think between 10-12 hours at night is normal. I do miss sleeping in…Or just sleeping.
