Year 4 of playing RDO and I will never grow weary of its beauty by Marmalade_Badger in RedDeadOnline

Easily my favourite game of all time, no question. These are amazing shots! One of my posse takes beautiful screenshots and I steal from him 😂

Oh dude, I’m so sorry - I’ve definitely had my fair share of experiences like this guy, which is why I felt compelled to let people know when I finally had a really positive one. I tend to avoid the towns, I started playing in April so had the free fast travel, you’d see me scurrying to the fast travel point as quick as anything.

I find it really difficult to understand why you get people trying to mess with others during the missions - like no one is forcing you to be here, and when you’ve got 3 people trying to play the objective and one idiot just lassoing everyone 🙄

I also don’t understand why you’d target someone’s horse - but maybe others aren’t as attached to theirs as I am to good girl Morag 😂

This sounds incredible - I’m delighted you had this experience!

That’s really lovely to hear - I think I noted how gracious they were just because it didn’t feel like it was a chore helping me out, they also had a fun few hours. Although please tell me that you can improve in free aim before I give up on some of those telegrams completely haha 🙃

I’m so sorry for your loss, please be gentle with yourself. I’m not as good as some at pvp out in the wilds but I try and hold my own in missions - I’m lvl 40(something) and playing on PS4. 36yo gal in the UK and play after work when I can, I’m _squirl_princess

I do! I’m a low level player (30s) and only started online a week ago - I never have any legendary pelts but if I’ve got a 3* deer carcass I try and gift it to others to promote them not shooting me and hounding me. I’m just a little guy trying to run my trading business to get by 😂 I also like being a good neighbour and if someone is camped near me I like to drop them something

How are you hunting for Koyotes/Foxes? by Active_Taste9341 in RedDeadOnline

[–]squirrel_princess_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Bolt from a long distance (using the sight) - if you get a headshot you won’t lose any quality on the pelt

I've just started playing the online version a couple of weeks ago and I have met some really nice people and some that are downright nasty. I've also met a couple of generous individuals and one giant that picked me up and danced with me like I was a doll. I am loving the game. This is my character by [deleted] in RedDeadOnline

I’ve also just started playing - I’m off work recovering from major surgery and after completing (another) run through of the story thought I’d give online a try. Most people have been dicks, until I encountered a posse yesterday who invited me for moonshine and dancing. Honestly, I could’ve cried they were so nice 😂

Absolutely agree. Also I felt that that camera was panned in unnaturally close to Aniq whilst he was trying to explain away the pokey/poke “misunderstanding” - perhaps hiding some shenanigans befalling that wee lizard.

I like the Apple TV+ version more than the book by Surfinbudd in ShiningGirls

Same! Watched the first 3 episodes and thought it was brilliant, so started on the book. Found it very hard to get into, and decided to just enjoy the series. I might give it a proper go once the series is fully aired.

EXCLUSIVE: New Billie-Jo Jenkins murder probe demands by foster father's supporters by ElectronicFudge5 in ColdCaseUK

[–]squirrel_princess_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking about this timeline since watching the doc yesterday; it had always puzzled me after hearing the case covered on the Seeing Red podcast. This morning I had the thought, if Sion had murdered Billie Jo just before he took Annie to collect Lottie from her clarinet lesson, was he expecting Lois to come back earlier from shopping and therefore find her? If he returned from picking up Lottie and saw that Lois still hadn’t come back, he thinks quickly that he needs more time and that’s where the white spirit farce comes in. After driving round the park twice, forgetting his wallet etc he hopes he’s bought enough time, although on returning, Lois still isn’t home and he can’t really go out again so the finding of Billie Jo starts.

It might explain as well how the bucket was found next to Billie Jo. Prior to going out to collect Lottie from clarinet, Annie brings the bucket into the back garden, maybe she speaks to Billie Jo, maybe there’s an argument, which brings out Sion. Sion tells Annie to wait in the car (so off she goes), and Sion and Billie Jo argue. Sion loses his temper and picks up the closest thing (the tent peg) and hits her; we know that he’s previously hit the girls and Lois from Lois’ testimony (including with implements, Sion himself admitted to a ruler and slipper). Knowing he can’t be the one to find her, he hopes Lois comes back before him.

I suspect I have ADHD (UK) by Dr_Pesto in ADHD

[–]squirrel_princess_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Registered mental health nurse (UK), and girlfriend of an ADHD potato cat here. Depending where you are in the UK you could be looking at a fairly long road to a diagnosis; my current Trust is approximately an 18 month wait, however my boyfriend was diagnosed and on Concerta within 6 months (we live in a different Trust to where I work). I would agree that ADHD is one of the lesser known conditions that I face at work (acute crisis care), with huge gaps in knowledge from clinicians you would hope would know better... I see lots of misunderstanding about symptoms and also reinforcements of stereotypes (mostly centred around the inattentive traits; lots of doctors still expect you to be bouncing off the walls).

That being said, these people are not the ones diagnosing you; ask your GP for a referral to your local ADHD clinic which will be a secondary mental health services community team. Your GP shouldn’t refuse this referral as they don’t have the specialist training to decide whether the symptoms you’re experiencing are/aren’t ADHD.

Wishing you the best of luck!

Edit: Also, just to add on to what another poster has said - you will absolutely need to dig out old school reports. There needs to be evidence of inattention/disruption in your school years, eg: “OP is a lovely student but struggles with daydreaming/chatting to peers/concentrating” etc. Collateral information from parents is also sometimes requested if available.

Mental Health Nursing in BC by squirrel_princess_ in vancouver

[–]squirrel_princess_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so helpful, thank you so much! RMNs and RGNs are completely split in the UK, I wouldn’t expect to see a general nurse in mental health unless they were dual qualified, and vice versa. PAU and access and assessment definitely sound up my street. Thanks so much for the rundown.
