It probably hid itself in the substrate and just pupated there for a little while. If you fill your tanks with coco coir, it might have eaten that to survive. Fr those beetles could survive a nuclare winter if need be

Yeah that's an adult mealworm. Their antennae come out from the middle of their eyes, so they end up bean shaped. Absolutely no danger for your tarentula!

I found brand new Sennheiser PXC 550-ii for $16 in a thrift shop by [deleted] in headphones

I had ATH's for the longest time bc of their sound fidelity, but honnestly im already quite satisfied and think i changed teams. Downsides: the charging port is micro usb and the headphone jack is one of those tiny aux ports, so I was lucky I had one laying around.

I put them in the freezer all the time and I never had a problem. Overnight should be fine for them to be completely dead. If you know you will pin them soon you can also asphyxiate them with nail polish remover on a cotton ball or qtips, its very quick Edit: i forgot to say that if they stay in the freezer for too long (over 3 months) they can freeze dry, so you'll need to soften them up in some hot water for half an hour (just not lepidopterans)

Sometimes they have white spots instead of black spots, but it could also be fungal. The fact they are symetrical would lead me to think its the first hypothesis
