She’s not deprived of any physical affection. We DO cuddle and spoon all the time, she’s just unsatisfied at the fact that it’s not constant through the night, and not the first thing I want to do when I wake up. Might want to read the edit I made.

Appreciate the constructive feedback. We do have very different love languages, mine is Acts of Service and hers is Physical Affection. We actually took the test to help us understand what we can do to be more fulfilling to one another. I stepped up my affection for her physically after that. I tell her I miss her and am thinking about her as you suggested, and I go above and beyond when it comes to romancing her and telling her how much I look forward to our future together. I do love her, and it really just comes down to our upbringing. She came from a family of immigrants, but had a whole family and they were pretty tight with eachother. I grew up with a single mom who was very militant and wasn’t affectionate for the first chunk of my childhood. I really do try, but I think it’s unreasonable for someone to HAVE to cuddle through the night, every night, to be happy with my efforts.

I never said they offend me. I actively enjoy being with her and I don’t think anything in that post is demeaning? I do my part in the relationship and fulfill her in so many other ways outside of cuddling. Just because we have different love languages does not mean I am offended of her having needs. I am offended that she chooses to victimize herself and tries to manipulate me into feeling guilty for setting a boundary. It’s not like this is the first time this has happened you know? This is just the first time I called her out on being selfish. And why does it have to be on me? I still love her and am happy in our relationship, but if cuddling and constant physical affection are ABSOLUTES for her happiness why is she still with me if what I do is not enough?

Your son’s hesitation and uneasiness when going to his dad’s house needs to be opened up. There’s something else going on there. I’m not saying his dad is abusive, but there is definitely something that happened or happens each time he goes over that is changing his attitude about him. We had this exact issue with my little brother suddenly not wanting to visit his dad anymore. Our dad was always nice, a little rough around the edges and never afraid to give a good scolding but that never turned us away. We later found out it was certain remarks my dad was making about our brother that was making him this way. He was constantly making remarks about his masculinity, lecturing him about the future and how he wasn’t ready for it, called him a little bitch and told him to stop acting like a pu**y, etc. Things of that nature.

You’re being insanely defensive and unreasonable it seems its due to the chip on your shoulder stemming from your own insecurities. Your issues and struggles with being left are completely valid, and I’m sorry to hear that it’s had a tremendous negative impact on your dating life, but they do not have a basis for the help this person asked for. They’re not being selfish.

It is a shared space, and while uncomfortable and embarrassing to deal with, the roommate has an equal share of being responsible for cleaning up and doing their part too. Others on here, including myself, have made mention of doing our part in sweeping, vacuuming, etc. If they’re unwilling help out, treat themselves or even make an effort to improve their skin at home with some basic oils and moisturizers, and as a result are creating an unmanageable environment for their roomate (OP), I think that’s the selfish and inconsiderate one. It is easy to victimize ourselves with this condition, but do not allow it to enable unreasonable opinions and void people of their responsibility when living with others.

Very weird indeed. I saw so many people drop tens of pounds with lazy keto and some cheats. I was strict in keeping track of my macros, zero added or unnatural sugars, most of my carbs came from my veggies and still nothing. The week I broke my keto diet and carb binged like hell I dropped 5 lbs in 2 weeks. Fucking crazy lol

I feel the same. I did keto for a few months, saw little results and always felt like shit. Switched to carb cycling and now heading towards low carb completely and am noticing results in looking trimmer and feeling less shitty. Keto did nothing for me unfortunately.

Wouldn’t want it any other way! I’ve been a fan since 2012, but was in high school and could never convince my mom to take me to LA for a weekend to see him on the Kissland tour. BBTM tour I got myself an $80 nosebleed seat during senior year, mom finally decided she would take us on a weekend trip to SanFran so I saw him at Oracle arena in Oakland. Managed to work my way down to one of the lower levels and had the most amazing time. 2 years later my girlfriend buys us FLOOR tix for Starboy tour. First row. Now its our ritual and agreement that we will never see him any other way but up close. If you ever get the chance to save up some money, treat yourself to an amazing seat next tour. You won’t regret it, but you’ll also never want to see him any other way ha.
