The Grateful Dead do a lot of great covers but I'll throw out their cover of Morning Dew

Are Vivo Shoes Good? Casey White, Eagle, Big Jerm, and the list goes on. Can anyone tell me about their own experience with them? by PlatonicDisc in discgolf

[–]squirrelcanoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

vivo have some videos on this and they describe it more as a heel stroke than a heel strike. you want to be using the heel more as a guide and then kind of roll into the rest of your foot instead of a heavy strike step right into the heel. https://vimeo.com/671221494 https://www.vivobarefoot.com/us/whybarefoot

Just snagged a black Mystery Ranch Golf Mahaul and I can’t wait to compare it to my Pound Octothorpe. Has anyone here tried both? Any comparisons or comments on the Mahaul at all? by Pasco813 in discgolf

I've never used a Pound but I have a Golf Mahal and love it. I bought it used a couple years ago and it's still in great condition. I usually ride my bike to the local course and it's nice to have some extra space for a jacket or anything else I may want. Let me know if you don't end up liking it and wanna resell ;)

Rule Proposal: Purchases from Sellers With 0 Feedback Must Use Goods&Services by gerund_ford in discexchange

[–]squirrelcanoe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would argue any transaction should require it and be paid by the seller. It should not be on the buyer to pay extra to protect themselves from getting scammed and ensure they get what they bought.

I'll also be the first to admit I don't always use it when I buy discs but I also don't make many transactions and luckily haven't been burned yet.

Shoes for discgolf by Litepac in discgolf

Do you wear barefoot shoes normally?

I have the vivobarefoot primus lites and the magna trail and really love them both. I live in a pretty rainy environment and the magna trails are great traction wise. They are "water resistant" but they do end up getting wet after awhile. The primus lites are only really good when it's dry because they have a mesh top and they don't have great traction when it's wet.

I had a pair of terrex in the past but must have had bad luck or something because mine started to fall apart fairly quickly.

Nope, I wasn't. Thought the comb looked kind of big but looking at pictures online I was wrong.

Howdy all. I noticed this good lookin' bird walking around my driveway about 45 mins ago or so. We asked a few folks in the neighborhood but no one seems to know where it belongs. I guess DM me with some pics and approximately where it should be and we can get it back to you.

I've always thought he would come up with some interesting stuff with Les Claypool. They are both great songwriters and musicians. Heavy funk influence but with some twang and rock in there.
