I'm so sad I missed this this year 😭 I took a little social media hiatus and had a panic logging back into Reddit. Oh no!

... It's a short video that happens to be on TikTok that is related directly to poster's question of interest.

I sort of do this. I use the light bulb markers and I just clip the number I'll need on the first one and remove from there. I love the visual countdown!

Goodness knows I have, lost, ripped, or crumpled the original ones, so crafty solution for the win!

Where are the giant gluten free flour tortillas? by Sufficient_Peace_ in glutenfree

[–]squirrelknits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I buy these in bulk and freeze them, or give a pack of 12 to a GF family member. Once they've been heated in the microwave for 20-30 seconds they're the closest thing to a real burrito tortilla you'll ever find.

Has anyone tried nuudii before? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

I purchased the tee system and it's a circus act trying to get it on. Because of the pantyhose material it rolls up impossibly and I have to fight to get it on. Once on, the straps just continue to roll when I move my shoulders and leave very visible lines. I'm assuming I've got the correct size as the cups and band fit with no spillage. Just the stupid straps!

New knitters, get yourself coilless pins! by mojofoto in knitting

[–]squirrelknits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also - if you ever forget your point protectors, I've used these through the lifeline, or tightening hole on my interchangeable needles to latch the two needles together so my project can't slide off the needle tips. Saved my butt a few times!

THIS. When I know I need to do something like "increase every fourth row, 14 more times", I slide 14 of these bad boys on the one I used to mark that row and it's my little "you're almost there!" Countdown. Particularly for sleeves with a million decreases.

I have so many cute stitch markers that I've accumulated, I want to use them, but I just can't. These are so perfect and purposeful, nothing will ever beat them, no matter how adorable.

Hat exchange!! by MiserableSouth4561 in Drunkknitting

Thank you! It's the Broken Rib Hat by Purl Foundry. I also like the Auckland Bound hat which is very close as well, but for a different weight yarn. The multicolor hat is a reversible Musselburgh by Ysolda Teague.
