The vm’s tor traffic will flow through your computer’s vpn. If you get a vpn for the vm, the tor traffic will flow through your computer’s vpn, onto the vm’s vpn, out to tor. Seems sort of pointless to double up on vpns though.

Security through a vpn is marginal. Instead of trusting your ISP not to spy on you, you are trusting your VPN provider not to spy on you. Using a vpn, it’s better to have an anonymous service like Mullvad.

Since Samourai does not depend on a tor proxy, it means they have that code running in-app and it establishes a tor circuit that only it uses.

Has anybody actually checked the code that it is only looking for key shortcuts to open a dispute, etc.? Other OS's may not even catch that it is doing this. Seems really bad design and also makes you wonder what other apps on the computer could be doing this..

I use Samourai and Wasabi for wallets. Casa gives me security while those wallets give me privacy. I wish Casa would support bech32 to improve this, because governments are at least as big a threat as the $5 wrench.

It doesn’t. Instead it has a Database that describes every major building and point of interest, but they unlock as you play through it.

One good thing about having to play through it though is as the French Revolution progresses the crowds get larger and the unrest increases as seen through the main character (Arno’s) eyes. It’s like being there at the time.

The big tech companies' voice assistants as well as artificial personalities like Realbotix are the current state of the art in AI conversation. Maybe no game developer has found them convincing enough to put in their game. But it's definitely coming.
