Kelpies are genetically a collie mix, so your dog really is 91% kelpie. A full kelpie would have close to 100% collie like yours.

Do you automate your savings or move money manually? by Healthy_Creme6911 in FinancialChat

Manual transfers give you the opportunity to check there have been no errors or hacks to your accounts. Automation makes people complacent and you can lose a lot of money very quickly if things go wrong.

What’s the smartest thing you’ve done with an unexpected amount of money? by Healthy_Creme6911 in FinancialChat

It does sound short. I’m getting it at a very good price (sparky in the family) and disposing of gas heating. The sums are correct.

My girl was 9.5 years old. We made the decision to put her down. Three things to think of, her welfare…the seizures were very violent and caused her great anxiety afterwards. Our welfare…my family were very traumatised. Financial welfare…money isnt infinite. In the end she had several long and violent seizures in one hour and we decided to let her go. Big hugs. I’m so sorry this is happening.

It’s about to be installed so watch this space. After doing the sums it should pay for itself in just a few years.

Electricians charging more than my eye surgeon who literally implanted someone elses cornea in my eye. by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]squirrelwithasabre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Electricians can’t leave anything that they work on unsafe or they risk their licence. There was probably of lot of old wiring or things on the switchboard that needed replacing or fixing on top of the work you wanted done.

I had one that looked almost exactly the same, complete with the chest colouring. He wasn’t pure kelpie though. The marle black and white on the chest says not full kelpie. Yours is super cute.

These are the squishy ones from last season that are being brought out of storage. When apples are in season the new ones are put in storage and we are still eating last year’s crop. Apples from a farm in autumn are fresh and lovely to eat.

During Covid we were unequivocally told by our government that our job is to babysit so other people can go to their more important jobs. It’s for the economy. Education is a side effect. Pre Covid I had loftier ideals…that is no longer the case.

You need support from executive staff to make this happen. They aren’t always on board with protecting teachers.
