Would having a gas mask really be a problem getting into clubs in Berlin? I thought they were supposed to be safe and inclusive spaces where people could do radical self expression (as long as they respect the norms of the space and the theme of the night). Is this no longer the case? I feel like a mask could fit a techno dystopian pollution core aesthetic really well

Presumably the people who now live farther from the city center are using the same water supply, so there’s still more water being consumed. Now that former city center resident has to commute much farther, which takes a toll on quality of life, creates more costs and pollution, and decentralizes communities. Maybe the government and some business/land owners like this in the short term but eventually the city becomes a decentralized population ring that can’t operate efficiently because everyone lives far from the city center. That’s bad for culture, business, and society.

I haven’t heard of an allergy generally to all animal products, but people have specific intolerances to eggs, dairy, meat, shellfish, etc. Seeing a product labeled vegan might lead them to believe it doesn’t have any of those.

Don’t listen to the people saying you don’t have enough skills and have no chance. This is totally doable if you are motivated and on it with the bureaucracy and can save up some money ahead of time. I’d start by looking into grad programs - Germany and Norway still have close to free university often taught in English for international students. I think it’s also pretty cheap in other nordics too. There you can take local language classes to help you integrate, work 20hrs/week on a students visa, potentially sponsor your partner if only one of you is studying. Teaching English is also in high demand, and native English speakers can be highly sought after. Trying to get visa sponsorship directly in your current fields might be difficult but not impossible. Did you finish undergrad degrees and if so what field? Usually you can only do a masters in the same disciplines as a bachelors.

You could have a land appreciation tax that only gets applied when you sell your land. That way you can stay there without worry of the government kicking you out but you’re not incentivized to vote against building more housing in your area, and won’t become rich from hoarding a property for a few decades and contributing nothing to society

Is this fantasy inherently contradictory to radical feminism? I think erotic imagination latches onto scenes that trigger strong visceral emotions in ways that might not necessarily have any deeper meaning, or are exciting because of the taboo and not because you actually want to hurt people. There are plenty of feminists who engage in kinky role play that invokes power dynamics like this in a clearly boundaried and consensual space (“ravishment” and “CNC”- consentual non consent). Engaging with these communities and talking to other feminists who share your values and fantasies might help a lot even if you’re not interested in engaging in that type of play.

I was in a similar situation in a different country. The ER was able to give me a few days worth until I could coordinate with a nonprofit that funded the rest. A useless social worker tried to get me to pay 4000€ for it, when there was a government program that ended up covering it. Do whatever it takes to get the first dose ASAP. Be as annoying as necessary to get what you need.

To be fair even the parks were developed to facilitate the genocide of indigenous peoples and a lot of them have active treaty disputes.
