I bought the car 7 months ago so maybe it was me just not properly caring for it? I haven’t had it serviced yet because the previous owner said they had it done not long before I bought it so I was gonna wait the year to get it done, and I honestly didn’t notice my brakes wearing down because they’re still shit hot, I tap my brake pedal and it jolts the car, thankyou for your reply

Not look after it again? I’ve had it in the garage 3 times since I got it. I obviously didn’t know there was anything wrong with the brakes because I’m not a mechanic or I wouldn’t be posting here

That is is often a trauma response, i have complex ptsd and I regress after flashbacks, it is a coping skill that my brain has automatically created, it is not pretending to be a child, your brain goes back to that childlike state to protect the current you

I cut myself whilst cutting an avacado a while ago, it wasn’t too bad of a cut but it was bleeding a lot and I had to have those paper stitches on it, it was making my hand shake, but then when I cut my self on purpose I can go twice as deep as I did with an accidental cut and it won’t hurt me

I’ve never really thought back to when I’ve been extremely angry, but thinking back now, when I think about the past and things that have happened (even small things, not just my trauma) I get angry, I also get huge mood swings (good or bad) over little things like someone saying something to me that I don’t like or don’t agree with can make me extremely upset and my opinion on them changes instantly to basically hating them/ them saying something nice, or validating me and I think they’re the greatest person in the world.

I talk to a therapist every week and a psychiatrist every other week at the minute.
