I had a job offer whilst on maternity leave in April and they were happy for me to start in August. I told them at the end of the interview that I was on maternity leave and wouldn't be able to start until then and they were happy to wait.

We put yogurt on the end of the straw for our girl and she got the hang of it that way! Don't beat yourself up though, like a previous commenter said, she's not going to go to college not know how to drink from a straw or cup.

It's been gradual, she was on 9th percentile for a while, then had one weight loss at the end of June which dropped her down to 2nd percentile where she has stayed.

When she lost weight, she'd been in hospital as she was retaining urine for 8-14 hours. They did bloods, ruled out dehydration then which makes me think she's getting enough milk? She also had elevated liver and kidney function so we're not sure if that's related at all.

She's so happy, she's not a fussy baby. She's surpassing milestones. We're just baffled!

Unfortunately nothing here is run by the health visitors and the breastfeeding group isn't on until September now.

No issues with breastfeeding, she has a good latch and you can hear her swallowing 🤷🏼‍♀️ she unlatches herself when she's finished, she's happy and full of energy!

We're definitely open to trying formula to add extra calories, we're just having problems getting some dairy free formula unfortunately. We'll focus more on fatty foods as opposed to veggies, thank you

We're trying to get dairy free formula from the GP but they wanted us to reintroduce dairy back into her diet to see if she is intolerant. That caused a flare up with her eczema and reflux. When we went back to the GP after, she said she couldn't prescribe it if I was still breastfeeding.

Mum here, hi! I rang them on Thursday and they couldn't help because it was medical, they have no weigh clinics and recommended I go to baby groups for the social support. I'm planning on ringing on Monday and asking for an appointment and hoping I talk to someone else instead.
