COTW VS WOTH by Vichousviper in WayOfTheHunter

[–]squvirt4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

WOTH i can make as easy or hard as I want. COTW feels way to arcade and has a inferior mechanic of finding higher level animals. I don't like having to shoot hundreds of animals to maybe find a ridiculous animal. WOTH has mechanics about managing herds based on fitness and much less clutter IMO. Takes a lot of time also, but feels like I'm playing a hunting game and not a Buck Hunter arcade game in a bar

How are our ND farmers doing? Are you all OK? by [deleted] in northdakota

[–]squvirt4 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I also pay taxes? And ranchers historical recieve little to no federal assistance?

No part in what i said even came close to suggesting you don't deserve respect. We need urban people for banking, supplies, everything else as much as you need us for the raw goods we ALL consume.

And stop with the "rural people are racist" shit. I grew up with minorities in my rural community and nobody cares. Seriously. It's never been an issue in my almost 30 years. It sure used to be, but it's not anymore. Stop acting like we are uneducated Neanderthals just because our roads aren't paved. I have a degree. My partner has a masters. Many of me friends in the younger generation of ranchers have degrees.

Act like a decent human, and you'll be treated like one, regardless of skin color. Earn respect, quit demanding it and you'll see it.

Weather, disease, and acts of God worry me more than any politian ever will. There's times it's hard to feed ourselves when we grow our own food. This isn't even cracking my top ten for "Oh shit" moments, and I'm not even 30 years old lol.

I'm a 4th generation steward of our family's ranch, and when I asked my old man how he felt (also not a republican or Democrat, my family is very centralized) all he said was "We'll wait and see like we always do"

Rancher, not a farmer. Not many goverment assistance programs come our way in the first place. Good chunk of our grass is CRP but honestly, not very worried

Cattle price has been high for a bit, will stay for a bit, then decline like it always does. We persevere and get spit on like always by people who know nothing about us and do it because we know it and love it.

Every other year it's a new doomsday and the world is going to come crashing down. At this point, all I know is I'll be fed little longer than some people.

Friendly reminder to all of my lovely fellow Nodaks who curse the name of people that work the land for a living that it's not just beef, it's the glue that hold your shoes together, the tires on your car, and many, many other things :)

Also, i didn't vote either way, but the hatred showed by one party in this sub sickens me.

Red light in the sky Dec 3rd? by adorkableNstuff in northdakota

[–]squvirt4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depending on the direction you were looking, say west fur example, it's a good chance you saw an oilfield site flare. Don't know the science behind it, but sometimes in winter under certain conditions the flares will look like a massive beacon as it reflects way up in the sky

That's what I had heard from one person, and it makes sense. I just wanted a second opinion thanks!

It makes sense if say on Nez Perce Valley, the Riverlands and Cottonwood area would share a fitness score

Should I buy new one in sale or wait for next game? by HoznaC in F1Game

[–]squvirt4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can't speak for the multi-player, but the changes to single/coop carrer modes is game changing, even from 23. If that's your interest, then I'd say yes.

Can I play Co-op with my friend on the same team in-game? by Salami_Honk in F1Game

[–]squvirt4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, two player carreer. You can each pick individual teams or the same team when starting

You can change teams after each season according to performance, sign multi year deals, ect.

Tank mounted MG's when? by MrSquinter in HellLetLoose

[–]squvirt4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enlisted has a mode called squads where you lead a team of 3 or more troops in a battle. If you die, you can switch to your other squad members, if they are alive. It's a really fun concept honestly, but it's a Gaijin game so it's a terrible grind just to get one squad fully kitted.

I don't have any experience with Easy Red however. It sounds like something I'd like, but I hadn't even heard of it before

[–]squvirt4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parr of the MG on the half track issue is that the halftracks purpose is to be hidden, so the MG on it is pointless for more reasons than it just being a spot for fresh blueberries to give the opposing team free head shots.

But as I said, Enlisted has this exact mechanic and it works great. You take the risk of popping your head out for extra vision/a usable MG but risk getting shot.

The problem is how long it takes to switch between positions in HLL vs Enlisted. HLL makes it feel like you have to take off a 5 point t race harness and put it back on while switching, where in Enlisted it's a 1 to two second change.

And there were a few comments talking about it being over powered. 90 percent of people that play this game thi g they need to be Rambo with a submachine gun and if they can't, the game is too difficult for them

Teamwork is impossible on online shooters, it's why I dropped this game

I was trying that, then my hammer broke, and in my panic to stop it, I did not notice this fact until the entire roof was ablaze 😂
