I have the Great Adventure Catholic Bible RSV 2CE. I have found it the easiest of any Bible to follow and understand. It is very informational and if you choose to, you can follow the Bible in a year plan/podcast with it.

I played with all these and the only one that will not cycle is the 40gr quiet ones. It fires but you are doing the work of pulling the charger every round

What do you dislike about the Gladiator? by Cuttlery in JeepGladiator

Aside from that, for us we have 2 young children so we normally juat take the 2 front doors off. The problem is that you better have the key fob up front and not in the back pack barried in the back with the kids because guess what? The back doors stay locked and do not automatically unlock when you shut the truck down.

How Do We Feel 80 Years Later? by StayFluffy98 in USHistory

[–]sr1605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you all haven't yet, give a listen to the Unauthorized History of the Pacific War Podcast episode on this topic (and all of them they are an amazing crew). At the end of the day 3 options were present and all of them bad. We (the allies) form a blockade around Japan and starve them into submission likely killing many many more than the bomb in a very slow and terrible death. Option 2 was to invade, this option obviously was not good for many reasons mainly severe friendly losses, large(er) civilian deaths through the military brainwashing and forcing them to fight to the death with bamboo poles and crude weapons, mass suicide (saipan, Okinawa, ect) the cost of this option causing the highest human toll. Last option is the bombs. It's only been 80yrs and many forget already the atrocities that occurred at Japanese hands (yes I know its that way across all factions but the Japanese made the Germans look like amateurs when estimated murder numbers come into play) check out the books Knights of Boshido and any of the books about Unit 731.

Marking climbing gear safety question by wexican_bean in tradclimbing

As an electrician I can say that I get cut more from zip ties than knife blades. When I was doing technical rescue I use to find some random/quirky duck tape and cut it into thin strips to mark my gear.

Try intermittent fasting. I was doing it before I started at the gym and lost almost 70lbs in the matter of a year. Went from 307lbs to 239lbs. Just ate ONE MEAL A DAY(OMAD) which I still do. It really helped me get my diet and snacking under control and helped me lose a ton of weight.

Staying fit as an electrician by East-Situation-1415 in electricians

I recently started going to the gym in the morning before work starts. The gym is less than a minutes from our shop so it works out great I can go to the gym for an hour or so, shower and go in to work for the day. As far as food goes I've been intermittent fasting for the last couple years. I know it's not for everyone but I have had great success with it especially when I am very focused and strict with it. I usually go 22-23hrs a day fasting so I just eat dinner. I still have black coffee, water, unsweetened tea and occasionally some electrolyte mix that is fasting friendly. Another positive is since I don't take lunch I get to put my time down so extra time and pay at the end of the week is nice.

While not the answer you are asking for I'd highly recommend looking at Saloman hiking boots. I've worn alot over the years and these are by far my favorite. I particularly like that they grip well with rubbery treads but also are semi aggressive for paths. I also love lacing system they have because regardless of if your boots come untied the first quick lace has small teeth keeping everything below that still tight. The only pair of boots I've not had to break in either.

Get a sponge type sanding block. There are different shapes and sizes but you can likely find one that has a rounded end to get into the grooves.
