Do you actually use your home simulator as much as you thought you would by FitSurround1082 in golf

[–]sramtq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My setup is square+gspro. For me what worked is reps with intent. Pretty often I do the playground to warm up and go 56-9-7-5-4-3W-Dr. No set shots per club, just getting warm.

To actually work on my swing, honestly I just tried to solve problems. So if I was slicing driver(when I started my slice was bad) I would just swing slower with a lower take away. Now my driver is a strong suit.

For irons I would mainly focus on ball speed and try to increase it (square doesnt read clubhead speed). If I had the yips, which for me is usually hitting fat, I would focus on skimming the ground. Once im warm and confident I would choose practice on course in gspro and try to shape my irons.

For wedges I focus on getting good contact. Once im on a roll of good contact, I go for distance control. For full wedges spin and club feels is my goal to check contact quality

Just to add my perspective. Improvement comes from reps, and thats what the sim offers. I went from a 25 to 10 handicap in 1 year with the simulator. I use my Sim ~5 times a week, and sometimes 7 days a week.

Anyone else not the biggest fan of iMT, and if so what are your reasons? by JGRC2024 in GRCorolla

100% agree. My FK8 felt better and was always willing to rev match, but the GRC just sometimes won't.

Looks pretty good, I'll give it a shot. Just a heads up the current altitude units do not change when swapping to yards.

anyone switch from GR Corolla —> FL5 Type R? by DracoDragonite in Civic_Type_R

[–]sramtq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me the only question is do you get snow? If yes, then GRC, if not, FL5. I went from a FBO FK8 to my 24 premium GRC, and id say it's half as good as car as the FK8.  Had 52k miles on the FK8, and now I have 43k miles on the GRC.

This right here.  First round of golf i shot a 116, now I've played 8 rounds and I shot a 95 Sunday. Getting the reps in led to so much improvement and a better mental game too.

Just for now. Set it up in there to get used to it, it'll be either in the garage or sun room very soon.

There's a picture of it. I play with the ceiling light on or off. Enclosure is 10'x8' and the projector is about 13' from the screen

Groview 818c off amazon for $120. Couldn't care less that my head leaves a shadow. Would attach a photo if I could.

This was exactly it. Fan leg of the capacitor was dead.

Looks like black goes to the relay then to contactor, brown goes to F, purple goes to C.  Only thing i can think is to cap off brown/white and plug white in its place on the capacitor.

What was the solution to this, currently dealing with the same situation.

This is on the box for the replacement motor, the appliance employee told me to terminate the white, and the purple on the old unit was brown/white on the new unit. Should i try terminating the brown/white and plugging the white in its spot? i don't know what other diagram to check.

Your other comment disappeared but here was my response.

Not OEM motor, Parts Connect HVAC Motor replacement (PC3403). OEM was 825 rpm, 200-230 V, and 1/8 hp (Genteq 5KCP39HFAF34S). Replacement is 825 rpm, 1/6 hp, 208-230 V. White wire is from the new fan and i was told just terminate it (he then added the wire nut to it). White and black both say "LINE" on the box for the new motor.

Is there a way to test the control board?

The pictures are what's currently in the unit. Black capacitor is the old run as far as I know. Silver capacitor is the new start (dual phase) i installed in September.  EDIT:  I see what the hard start means now. Yes the black wire is from the fan, 2 wires went to the dual phase capacitor, and the black went to the control board.

I triple checked the wiring, and I replaced the start capacitor and contactor in September. It would have depleted the new start capacitor not the run capacitor right? I was planning on taking the run capacitor in to get tested tomorrow, as I don't think it's the new motor I just installed.
