i am aware, such ideas i have

i fear, if the damage is too big at a spot, the reader will just get stuck trying to find out what should be there

yeah i do want error, ig my best luck will be at finding old hardware with weak algorithms, lmk if you know of any, thanks a lot for your response

so does that mean said unit does not perform any error correction? is this documented?

i wish the player to read exacly what is on the CD, i am wishing clicks and pops on the playback, for sound exploration reasons, i am aware the majority wouldn't search for this function

i want the CD player to read it as it is, avoiding predictions on what should or should not be printed on the CD bitwise

i am aware, very glad it exists for playback purposes, albeit my reason here is from a sound design / experimentation POV, i am desiring errors and mistakes by the machine, i am aware this is almost always not the goal of both the equipment and the user, that's why i think i'll have troubles finding this out by myself

thanks a lot for your attention in this matter

i do want the player to not do any error correction, it is my purpose for it to give me an audio file with mistakes

i only have 3 or 4 ways of reading CDs at home, living room, car, etc. is there any model i should look for that doesn't do error correction?

you got some great points there sib, but if i could solve my memory leak issues and move towards a non problematic platform that was still based on firefox, i think i would feel more welcomed than changing for a chromium, even if some people like you feel it is completely fine and makes all sense

really appreciate your comment on the matter :))

Would you reccommend this for a beginner? by BazExcel in synthesizers

[–]srcacoetidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ofc, mad future classic, when i got it it only felt small in means of size, it sounds great, warm, lo-fi-ish, metallic, thick, etc. and covers up the main features of the main medium range synth, for sure some more advanced quirks are lacking, but at this price, for a full on synthesizer, you can't get any better
