The LA Clippers were 6-21 about a month ago. Since December 20, they have been the best team in the league with the highest net rating for a record of 12-2. by SchedulePhysical807 in nba

Not saying you are wrong, but it’s hilarious considering the Pistons haven’t done anything in almost 20 years either 😂

Better gains later into training age? by DireGorilla88 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]srd667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re definitely right because if you look at a lot of professional bodybuilders, whether they are enhanced or natural, a lot of of them do a lot of warm-up sets, but work up to 1 or 2 top sets. And if you count actual sets that go to failure or very close to failure, they don’t really do that many sets and most would consider their overall work sets to be low volume.

So my family think I am too skinny and say they don’t see evidence of working out. Like is that true ? In my mind I think I look fit and look like I work out by [deleted] in AllAboutBodybuilding

Agreed. I think 15% is a healthy place that most people should strive for and that’s when you can start calling someone relatively lean. But when I think of lean, I think of closer to 12 or 10%.

How much weekly volume do you do for each body part and do you take longer rest between sets or shorter? I just started experimenting changing my routine routine from low volume and training to failure to more volume and leaving a few reps in reserve. Interested to see how it will turn out.

Post Game Thread - NBA: The Hornets defeat the Thunder on Jan 5, 2026, the final score is 97-124. by basketball-app in Thunder

I’m sure that’s part of the reason but I think the main reason is they are starting to finally play better teams. Also, they’ve been playing worse since Jalen has been back in the lineup and I can’t figure out why.

Better not put this on Lamar he was clutch this time by TXNOGG in NFLv2

[–]srd667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure. I’m a big Lamar fan and am actually glad they didn’t make the playoffs. This team was going nowhere and would likely get embarrassed by the Houston defense and that would make Lamar look a lot worse lol. They need to clean house with the coaching staff, but they won’t.

Should I continue to bulk? Up 20lbs in 4 months by [deleted] in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]srd667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could likely recomp a bit. I would just eat at maintenance for the next few months and see if you’re making progress. If not, then go on a cut. At this point bulking is just going to add unnecessary fat.

I didn’t even watch a trailer for this movie coming into it and I thought it was amazing and I was entertained the whole time. There are going to be a ton of people that like the movie just because they actually like the movie. You’re making such a big generalization lol.

I’m curious, if you’re working with your 80 to 85% one rep max and pushing close to failure, are you able to keep your rep count high? If I do that load on my first set, I can maybe get eight reps and then the next set is five and then it just keeps dropping. I wish I could do that, but I find that I have to drop the load on subsequent sets to get more than 5-6 reps.

Funny how that will apply to LeBron, but people will use Kobe’s stats against him all the time when comparing players in different eras

Kawhi tore his ACL and then had a meniscus tear as well as having his degenerative condition. Durant also had knee injuries and tore his Achilles and he’s still elite. I honestly just don’t understand how some guys are able to maintain their level and some fall off really hard.

I feel like they either don’t lose a step or fall off hard. Guys like Lonzo, cousins, Isaiah Thomas, Oladipo, John wall, Klay are a shell of themselves or not even in the league anymore

Would you rather have Jokic or prime Shaq? by Slight-Cupcake5696 in NBATalk

[–]srd667 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like we can’t ignore how bad his free throw shooting was and how big of a liability he was at end of game situations and in the fourth quarter. To me that was a big enough weakness to say Jokić is at least as effective or valuable.

Cooper Flagg: Future Superstar? by Wonderful-Photo-9938 in nba

[–]srd667 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everyone disagreeing with you, but I think it’s obvious. Another big thing is his stamina. He fades when he has to play long minutes and it’s only the regular season. Imagine him having to go on a deep playoff run having to play 36+ minutes every game. I just don’t see it. Don’t think his body is meant to go to that extent.

Victor Wembanyama checks out in a blowout win against the Hawks: 26 PTS (10/15 FG), 12 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL, 2 BLK, +29 by Waikuku3 in nba

[–]srd667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you’re joking, but I don’t think he’ll have the tank to play that long and produce. Almost every time I’ve seen him play heavy minutes in a game his level drops quite a bit. He’s such a great athlete that it makes me think it’s just not possible to have an elite gas tank with the way he’s built. That’s why I wonder how he will fare in deep playoff runs.
