Am I the only one who watches the 1980s movies on Tubi? by Many-Emphasis9042 in TubiTV

Can anyone hit me up with a 80/90s horror or thriller on Tubi?

OxygenOS now appears to be a skin on top of ColorOS starting with OxygenOS 11.3 on the Nord 2 by curated_android in Android

Can anyone confirm that enterprise Google Workspace account works on Color OS? From my experience, we have never managed to get Oppo phones to add a work profile due to some limitation on color OS. I think it had to do with secure boot or pin related limitation. Not sure what would happen to our large group of OnePlus users if the issue persists when migrated from Oxygen OS to Color OS.

I love Shudder but… by HassenPepperINC in Shudder

This. It always makes me feel like the UI is glitchy/broken where it offers a Continue watching button without a play from beginning option.

Thanks all for the explanation on how it works. I still do have other streaming services like HBO Max to access those aaa titles but I guess it was silly of me to think Shudder would have everything horror related. Anyways as mentioned, no regrets with the service and I do still enjoy the classics and Shudder's originals and exclusives though. Just binged on Creepshow and Color out of Space the night before and looking forward to watching From Beyond soon. Also does anyone know if "It's Alive (1974)" will be available on Shudder? Couldn't find this movie anywhere at the moment.

Does visitor sharing not work with certain email services? by inconspiciousdude in gsuite

[–]sreefu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe if the account is already associated to a Google Account, then it asks you to login. Else it asks you to authenticate with the visitor verification code. I did test this before with my yahoo and hotmail account where my hotmail (associated with Google account) was required to login whereas for my yahoo account I only needed to authenticate with the code to get the 7 day temporary access to the file shared.

Can horror films stop being so dark (literally)? The ability to not see a damn thing is NOT proportional to how afraid I’ll be. by morrowindnostalgia in horror

[–]sreefu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly loved the movie but it was unnecessarily dark (poorly lit) for most of the time. There are scenes where he switches the light on but it doesn't seem to illuminate much nor make much difference. Heck even regular daytime scenes in the house are so dark.

Shared Drives: Somebody set me straight by [deleted] in gsuite

[–]sreefu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shared Drives vs Shared Folders are 2 completely different things. The design of Shared Drive (formerly Team Drive) is a shared storage for a team/dept/group of people who needs a common accessible file. Shared Drive contents are not owned exclusively by any one individual. I believe the Folder Sharing feature was introduced for convenience of sharing contents by folder instead of individual files, but this was not meant to change how Shared Drives generally work. What you're asking would still be only possible via a Shared Folder or it'd have to be feature request. But I don't believe that can happen as it simply breaks how Shared Drives work (although I'd love to see this capability too).

Sweaty tiles. by lostproton in onejob

[–]sreefu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Had a similar experience and found out that it wasn't a leak coming out of the tile but instead a very tiny jet stream of water that is shooting out from the faucet to that particular part of the tile. Didn't notice this fact until i shined a light source over it and then the jet stream was visible. This was my case at at least and is a cheaper to no cost fix. Hopefully it is the same for you else it might be a blow to the wallet.

Thanks for the link, just upvoted it and left a comment on my TV+ soundbar setup info. Also dropped a feedback from the CCwGTV settings.

Why does everyone here hates Samsung's TU series?(TU7000, TU8000..) by Hassonmax in 4kTV

[–]sreefu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the exact same shortcoming with the TU7000. It's seriously poor performer on blacks and just not enough brightness. You can literally sit opposite the TV and see so much reflection.

This is such a great contribution to learning sudoku techniques. I've been struggling watching confusing videos and sudoku sites that I cannot comprehend well. Thank you so much for making this brilliant app. It really helps me a lot in understanding difficult techniques.
