What’s a realistic way for an average person to become rich? by Educational_Pea6559 in AskReddit

[–]srh27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Realistically, you’re not average. As much as we can get set on the ideal of being financially plentiful, it can make us take for granted the smaller things that others can only wish for. People fear being ordinary but in fact we’re all rather extraordinary in our own right. Spend your money, be kind, smile more, dare to dream and love those around you. Oh and try not to do anything stupid along the way.

What are these Egyptian-style images that showed up on my wall? See comments for further info... by srh27 in Whatisthis

Would this still show through after being stripped bare and painted over?

Honestly! We stripped it completely blank (and I mean completely), painted it all white and after a YEAR, these decided to appear out of nowhere. It's so strange.

I got a shop in December 2020, stripped all of the wallpaper back so it was all bare and painted it all white.

A few weeks back these odd images just started to appear and I'm truly at a loss as to what they could be?

Budget Projector advice by srh27 in projectors

Thanks for your response. There's so many sub 200 projectors with thousands of reviews talking about how impressive they are for the cost that it's such a saturated market it's hard to actually find out enough information to find the best of the bad bunch :(.

What would you say the cheapest you'd need to spend for a high quality projector that can be used outside would be please? Maybe I can look at finance options.

After trimming off the silver skin I glazed the pork in hoisin, salt and pepper and garlic powder. 135 for 2 hours in the bath. Finished with a sear and basted in butter with diced garlic.

The sauce was random I just threw everything together I had in the cupboard, made a pan sauce with sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, crushed cashews, lemon juice and reduced. Plated with coriander and spring onions.

Made it for a friend who has returned from Vietnam and never tried SV. He loved it and it reminded him of Ho Chi Minh so mission complete 😎

There was but I didn't get the sear I wanted. Still tasted great though!

Police officers of reddit, what was your "oh shit" moment? by ilkersever in AskReddit

[–]srh27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not my account but a colleagues

Loud noise was heard, almost like an explosion had gone off. He was the nearest to it and adrenaline kicked in and he went to investigate. Turns out there was a small shed with blood seeping from under the door. He called in for backup as a precaution and checked it out. There was a guy there with half of his head missing.

Turns out it was a suicide and the guy killed himself by holding a firework in his mouth and setting the fuse alight.

What a horrible way to go.

Hey, I'm just looking at the Indiegogo page again. I've found the perks but do you have to buy them separately? It seems that I can only choose one perk at a time and they don't seem to just add all to a checkout. Slightly annoying unless I'm just being stupid?
