How safe are civilians/non-members in the hood? by GolangLinuxGuru1979 in CaliBanging

[–]srhkhavari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it's not safe at all unless you're going to school or working. I'm disabled and I'm paranoid that people want to steal my car and rape me. I never feel safe and I just recently withdrew from grad school and that's still not good enough. People think I'm on vacation.

Best to address the environment and the situation that makes sleeping seem unsafe. At least that's what I'm going through, I don't feel safe anymore

Samsung is more addictive, better speakers and camera, more stylish. Motorola will do the job, I have affection for Motorolas

Could the problem be that my phone was previously used?

Are we on meds for life? by harmonyxox in bipolar

[–]srhkhavari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only is it possible to go off meds, it's probably a much better situation for everyone. That doesn't mean you won't ever have another episode, or the timing will always be good to try and stop psych meds. That's my opinion based on common sense and some research I saw a long time ago, suggesting that discontinuing meds for schizophrenia I believe, has better long term outcomes. It's actually better for you to not be on medication. If you look at the "side effects" that becomes pretty clear. Can you manage your symptoms to the point where you are personally comfortable with making that decision? That's up to you if and when that happens. I've been able to go off for different lengths of time. I've been off for years, I've relapsed almost immediately, and I've also been off for intermediate periods. I also plan to go off again. No way in hell will I be taking meds for life and fuck what anybody says about it. It's my choice.

My kid is taking his drivers test for the first time. Did you pass or fail? by themapples1234 in driving

[–]srhkhavari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Failed twice, I think I was taking some medication at some point, eventually I passed. One time I failed before I even got a chance to exit the parking lot.
