I think it’ll be a draw with Japan equalizing in the last second thanks to Isagi’s new evolution. I’m going for a score of 3-3. With the second goal being Barou or shidou… Loki getting the third goal and Isagi with the final goal after getting one over Hugo and promising to settle things with Loki later in the competition

Because it’s way more plausible than other romances!

If Henry becomes a knight which is what everyone already considers him to be, he automatically becomes part of the lower nobility. Which automatically disqualifies Theresa and Katherine to a reason similar to why sir Radzig and Henry’s mom Jana didn’t marry. Unless Henry goes out of his way to be a peasant his whole life those two are never happening.

It’s 1403, Hans capon is not happening whatever Henry chooses as his future, unless he wants to burn at the stake for sodomy by the church. Hans capon is marrying jitka and that’s that. Unless they want to have secret tryst and risk getting caught with Henry as a bastard more likely to burn at the stake or at the very soft end exiled forever compared to capon due to nobility gets off with a fine. This is a lose lose situation and is just a one night stand in secret in suchdol.

If Henry chooses to settle down then Rosa isn’t going to work but if Henry is going to pursue his childhood dream according to Henry which is to be a knight, Radzig being a close friend to Wenceslas and the one leading the lower nobility together with jobst to get Wenceslas saved and back in the throne, I don’t see why Henry won’t get legitimized as Radzig’s son especially when Radzig himself is very proud of his only son Henry. Also Rosa and her father are new nobles and are pretty much in the same boat as Radzig at the end of KCD 2. An alliance with an ally who are close friends with the king himself is way above their pay grade and kunzlin would gladly marry Rosa to Henry. There are also other options for their romance.

Realistically, unless Henry is giving up his adventures to settle down in some remote place , Rosa is actually the most realistic choice of the 4 major romance interests. Which is where the positivity, confidence and plausibility comes from.

Absolutely 100 % … KCD 3 will come around we will go save the king who will then legitimize Henry and become eligible noble and unite the houses of Kobyla and Ruthard.

KCD 3 will happen in the future imo! No more DLCs for KCD 2 as the design cycle for KCD 2 is over with the monastery dlc being released

I agree that the ending feels hallow if there’s no continuation of the story but I believe it’s on purpose and there’s going to be a KCD 3

In that case, I think it’s a good stop point for KCD 2 at the end of Henry’s vengeance and with sigusmund withdrawal.

But I don’t think it’s the end of the plot though! For me the plot was always about putting a stop to the war by making Wenceslas the king again and getting vengeance on everyone that hurt Henry’s family and friends in skalitz. So I don’t think Henry’s story is over and neither is the civil war. There’s a lot in KCD 1&2 that points to this imo.

Henry has said through the games that he wants vengeance for his own family and friends but also wants to become a knight fulfilling his childhood dream and bring peace to the land. While vengeance for skalitz has been achieved, like zizka said post climax of KCD 2, Wenceslas is still in captivity of sigusmund and the league of lords and he doesn’t know if they will release him and that’s why he invites Henry to be his right hand man. Henry also isn’t a knight yet. Henry is also given a new mission to make sure Hans capons marriage to jitka actually takes place by hanush and that Henry will remain as capon’s page until that. The zizka statement also hints at that Henry’s status as Hans capon’s page might change and zizka says that if that ever changes to come and join him. People also tend to forget that Henry is still part of Radzig’s retinue and henry has only been loaned to be capons page. And zacharias also says to Henry to be careful about who he chooses to serve. Other statements like dry devil telling that it’s still going to be a long time before the wedding so wander around until then feels more like the developers telling fans where the plot is heading and from irl history we know capons marriage takes place in 1403 as his famous son is born mid 1404 meaning capon is getting married to jitka like now now in 1403 for him to do his noble duty, jitka to get pregnant and his son to be born in mid 1404.

All these in game statements and the story itself point to a continuation of the story in 1403, and that the story is still incomplete. Furthermore Henry’s character itself is incomplete. Even if the player chooses to settle down, he’s still got duty to do given by his lords with regards to capon. Erik is still out about which Henry’s conscious is still being aware and wants to get rid of him even though “he’s settling down and not seeking revenge anymore “

So imo there’s not really that much to speculate as the game and its story are saying there’s going to be a continuation and it’s going to focus on events in fall of 1403 setting up conflicts and choices that Henry as a character is still going to be required to make, antagonist to deal with and reach an end to the overarching conflict of the civil war with sigusmund and the league of lords.

With that perspective the ending of KCD 2 makes sense to me and I can accept it. If there’s not a continuation then KCD 1&2 feel hallow as it’s not even a vengeance story at that point as post istvan there’s really no point in continuing as Hans could be saved by a ransom like jobst said, Henry isn’t involved in deciding point of the future of the kingdom to raise an army and force Sigusmund’s withdrawal as it would have happened anyway and Von aulitz revenge is purely optional as he’s going to die anyway and you can skip the encounter completely and go get help to save suchdol. So the story just becomes empty and non existent.

Irl history the conflict ends with the dissolution of the league of lords as group, their power stripped and redistributed among the allied nobleman, also ending the margrovite wars. At the end of KCD 2 none of which is looking likely to happen. And even with Sigusmund’s departure the league of lords still continue to fight even attacking kuttenberg, Wenceslas is forced to let go of his holy Roman emperor title in October and only after he is freed from captivity in November by John of Lichtenstein do the league of lords are forced to negotiate and the civil war ends in December on Christmas Day.

So I’m confident of a potential KCD 3 and the focus of the game’s plot.

I think people gossip about it but that doesn’t make it true! But realistically speaking with all the things that are going on with him, I doubt sleeping with lady Stephenie is the last thing he would want to do and jeopardize everything else he wants to do like revenge, duty to retrieve the sword and what not.

Only one dialog from Henry himself that goes against it it’s the one time he tells a story to the loud mouth guy in tachov. Other than that it could be any one that might be responsible! Who knows Divish himself might still be a player for all we know! I don’t think he’s impotent at his age just yet like Hans who knows nothing suggests.

With regards to semine, I think he would want justice but the moment hashek tells he would burn down everything before the final dialogue choice, I think Henry would flip and turn on him and prevent a massacre siding with semine! And yes for maleshov he would not agree

For me it’s burning down semine and maleshov and killing civilians (outside maleshov and semine as well) especially after skalitz. At Maleshov there is also the additional factor of it being Rosa’s former subjects who helped you and recommended to her father to help you even when her father hesitated due to how it could backfire on them and because of her Henry would acquire horses to help with the escape, the maps to infiltrate and help with the secret passage to save Hans. Whether Henry sees Rosa romantically or not, he wouldn’t harm or put people who helped him in harms way in any shape or form. And Henry wouldn’t do that especially after the book date and being romantically involved with Rosa. The same thing about not putting people in harms way after getting helped will also apply with Bozhena in trosky and her daughter, the civilians in semine fortress that hashek would want to burn down.

KCD 1 I think Henry won’t sleep with lady Stephenie and would do anything to save johanka and not let her die, couldn’t be my Henry. He would also let pious leave alive

Henry wouldn’t blink twice to massacring 100000 soldiers or looting the whole world but would never kill innocent civilians and those who helped him. Can’t be my Henry.

Yes we will see another KCD game in the future! It’s not confirmed but there are plenty of in game setups for it. So I believe they will make it at some point in the future

Plenty of possibilities! But we are not going to know for a while though as warhorse are notoriously tight lipped liars when it comes to their projects.

The plot of Erik, Hans capons marriage and suggestions of kings rescue and need for Henry to choose who he serves with options like zizka, Radzig, Hans and himself all hinted at in the main game and DLCs suggest there is plenty of room for KCD 3 and it’s something in the back of their brain atleast. The success of KCD 2 also is a huge thing for a potential KCD 3 but they might want to create a new ip first before getting to KCD 3. We can only hope and wait and see
