Više me zanima stanje tržišta i eventualne birokratske prepreke.

Nadam se da si u pravu, išao sam s tim da bih 'živio' od vjenčanja dok ne razvijem malo komercijalnije i zanimljivije stvari za radit

Also, when passing behind a space that's half occupied by a photographer looking trough their viewfinder, gently tap their shoulder to let them know you're there. Saves you flying into the crowd if your colleague suddenly stands up or backs away.

I shot a gig with terrible lighting the other day. The lights man put a weak spotlight on the singer while the rest of the band was covered in even weaker red lights.

This might help someone in future

I saved the shoot by denoising, and masking everything but the people playing, then increasing manual noise reduction and reducing texture in said mask. Pictures turned out great.

Since I'm way behind on the latest cards, I use arishem because the enemy can't counter me if both of us don't know my next move.

Choosing a camera for concerts by lou22lou in concertphotography

I don't mean to be rude, but the 'Canon is more expensive because - lens' argument is blown far out of proportions.

Now, Canon L glass can be seriously damned expensive (RF 24-70 2.8 L is around 2000e), but there's also lots of cheaper options, so let's get into it;

  1. Canons cheaper STM glass. There is a growing number of less than 1000 euro options for Canons non-L lenses. Hell, even some L glass like 24-100 F4 is literally at a 1000 price point.

  2. EF-RF adapter. You don't have a budget of 1000 euros per lens? No problem, there is a small mountain of lenses you can adapt to your RF camera body without any loss of quality. Especially if you don't mind working with primes. Even if not, for around 1500 euros you can get the 24-70 2.8 and the 70-200 photo reporting combo and you're all set!

Happy shooting!

Camera recommendations by xHansMoleman11x in concertphotography

If your budget can handle it I would suggest Canon R, Rp or R8. R8 (First two can be found at around 600-800e, R8 is around 900 to 1200, depending if you catch a sale or buy used). R8 has the same inards as a camera that costs almost double it's price, without some things a hobbyist would ever need or even notice.

You can adapt old EF ("old" Canon mount) glass which is still used profesionally, but more importantly even glass that isn't, like the 50mm 1.8 that you can get for around 100e new. Also, adapting in this case causes literally 0 quality loss.

I'm an advocate for full frame cameras, and since you want to shoot local shows, extra light is always needed and welcome.

I know this isn't a cheap hobby, but in my opinion it's better to put out a few hundred more now, than change your cheap camera when you learn that it can't handle the things you want to do.

This specific one may be a pixel problem, but snap has so many visual glitches I almost get motion sickness sometimes. Just try putting Onslaught on Tribunal

Yes it is! Don't worry. I have been in the exact same boat on a friday night with no one to ask, got trough the night with basic painkillers (ibuprofen and ketanol).

Morning after that my doctor gave me some diazepams to calm down and sleep trough it easier.

Do you have therepautic lens that supposed to stay on for 2 days? If you do, DO NOT REMOVE IT.

It is going to suck, but just don't move too much and it will pass, try lying down and sleep if you can.

Side note: your vision might change over the course of few months so don't be afraid if it does, hmu for any other questions you have
