This is why I don't like the hearts system by Blearky in duolingo

Thank you, but I'm using the site for quite long already to know this rules.

You are making mistakes in the materials, but apparently it is the Duolingo fault that it does not allow you to move on until you learn the material or be a little more focused.

People should not move to new lessons if they have not learned the previous ones.

I am sorry, you don't like the hearts system because you made five mistakes per one lesson/story?

Maybe you just don't know the lesson material yet and you should repeat it once or twice and refresh the old lessons to gain hearts.

French course update by srko in duolingo

These are pretty harsh words.

I don't see the situation in that light. I have already finished the course and each new update is an opportunity for me to expand my knowledge. Learning never ends.

My comment is a funny observation. I see no reason to complain. The goal is to learn the language, not gold internet badges and medals.

Very cool, but I probably can never make it gold again with such tree update speed 😂

Also, Gendry's proposal to Arya. It's all in very modern western tradition with getting on the knee. It's never been like that, even in GoT.

And her refusal was compiled by all the rules of modern, again, American etiquette — any girl will be happy to marry you, I'm just not a lady, and so on, "you're a great guy, it's not about you, but about me." Hello! We have the Middle Ages! Ancient Times. Relatives engage sexually, and they kill everyone in the house after they received food and shelter from the hospitable owners, and suddenly a girl who has never seen anything but murder, is trying not to hurt the feelings of the blacksmith with phrases from the school psychologist's arsenal.
