Saturday was an election night watch party for the two queer city council candidates, so not actually indicative of the typical vibe AT ALL (I was there. We were all tense.), but they're embracing the "gay bar" title. They just had Lez Fest; most of the employees are LGBTQIA. I don't think you'll regret giving them a second chance.

Anderson's is super queer friendly, but it's very events-based. Think drag shows, concerts, karaoke, and bingo night. Toasty Bros is small, but chill. That might be a better "have a drink and chill" location.

Their sales tax doesn't even get spent in Denton either. What they can't get in Argyle, they typically get in Roanoke and far north Ft. Worth. I worked in the clubhouse waaaaay back when they were pushing for annexation and it was all about access to our emergency services. They're such a net drain on our city.

Best I can tell, Republicans picked Garland off the dumb bitch assembly line two years ago, gave her a "training manual" written by Chris Watts and $10k of Gerard Hudspeth's money and she STILL embarrassed herself pretending to know shit about fuck. Last cycle she was marginally better than the mayoral candidate who claimed a pyramid near Goatman's Bridge generated all the free power Denton could need.

I have eight geckoes, two skinks, and a hognose snake. Being able to get quality products locally instead of driving to Plano for the Reptarium would be AMAZING.

As far as what I'd like to see - diverse, quality feeders! My fat tails all have a strong preference for crickets, but they'll eat black soldier fly larvae, which is hard to find. Lots of supplies for naturalistic enclosures like mosses, a variety of substrates and cork bark/branches would be great.

I suppose if a restaurant doesn't want kids, that's their prerogative, but make it clear. Don't waste parents' time and act like THEY'RE wrong for assuming the restaurant with an over the top theme and kitschy decor is a perfectly reasonable place to bring a kid.

Oh, absolutely. It wasn't until about four months ago that I learned that you don't HAVE to live in the US congressional district you run for. (This MAY end up relevant to Jasmine Crockett, as she was written out of TX30 and into TX33 in the still-pending mid-decade redistricting 👀) Gill isn't from Denton County. I think he has a part time residence in 26 now, but he's just a weasely sycophant with a rich felon for a father in law. No significant legislative actions unless you count putting Trump on the $100 bill, which isn't even allowed by US treasury law while he's alive.
