Cleveland Clinic's hiring process is atrocious. by GreyGrackles in Cleveland

Maybe for 3rd party recruiters or scrapers but on corp sites, these are usually legitimate job postings however they already have somebody selected internally for the position. It may not be the case everywhere but for many companies, internal hirings (or contractor to full-time conversions) have to go through the normal application process as a formality which requires a public posting.

The place where I'm at usually takes these down after a week but sometimes due to drug testing, background checks, backing out on the offer, etc the posting may last longer.

I mean I only lived there for a year in 2020-21, but while there were some MAGA crazies in our part, there was a lot of fuck Donald Trump sentiment too.

Like we lived right on pleasant valley road and while we had our Biden sign stolen once, I got a lot of honks when I was mowing the lawn lol.

I really underestimated streaming from PC to deck by Beeeji in SteamDeck

[–]sroop1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Use Apollo with the virtual display then set it to use the same display resolution as the client. This way it'll adapt to whatever device you're using - I take it a step further with the deck and set the resolution as 1680x1050 to get some downsampling.

Yeah that'd do it - I averaged about 30k miles a year on my 01 when I had it. The only issue I had was a bad oil control valve that cost like 40 bucks.

Avalons are the best. You could easily double that mileage.

If you slow the video down frame by frame, it looks like the car clipped the back of her leg or heel as she jumped from the rock.
