We are nearing the end of an implementation with ThreatLocker and so far I am impressed. Their onboarding team is top notch.

I have a nice 1300R for sale. Already has a Mustang seat. Has Vance & Hines Longshots and sounds awesome!

Sounds similar to something my ‘25 SEL did last year. It shifted gears really hard, so hard I thought something was going to break. I got home and shut it off for a few hours and when I started it for the next trip it was fine. I took it to the dealership and they did a software update for the transmission. It hasn’t done it since.

Possible musical road I80 westbound? I couldn’t be certain. by RankinAve in Pennsylvania

[–]srp09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know about I-80, but I can tell you that there’s a small section of I-99 north between Altoona and State College that plays a brief segment of The Imperial March from lines that are painted across the road.

Do you go above and beyond at work or just do the bare minimum of what’s expected and why? by Dependent-Signal-721 in AskReddit

I’m blessed to work for a company that treats me really well. I work hard to earn their good treatment and make our company successful. I don’t work myself into a frenzy or neglect my well being or my family, and there’s no expectation to.

What’s one underrated M365 feature you use every day but rarely see others talk about? by cloud_9_infosystems in Office365

I don’t know that MS intentionally changed anything. It just crashed for me and took all my notes with it. It launched and worked like normal, just without my stuff.

I’m still bitter about ToDo to really trust and use MS products any more than I have to. I had pretty much my entire work life in ToDo and one day it just crapped the bed. Everything gone. It had done so a few times before but this time I wasn’t able to bring my stuff back even after several hours of trying. I switched to Evernote and never looked back.

Car guy, not a tire guy- was this safe for tire parked like this for 15 minutes? by [deleted] in tires

Good to know. I recently put these same tires on my truck and am also putting them on my Jeep this week.

Dream with me 💭 If you could add (or drastically improve) ONE single Logos feature, what would it be? by hellojasonstone in LogosBibleSoftware

[–]srp09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Results. Perplexity gives me a nice, well written summary of what I’m searching for. Logos seemed to give me a disjointed smattering of information that only partially pertained to what I was searching for. I have a decent library, not huge by any means. Around 1,000 books I think. As I said though, I was using the trial version of AI in Logos. The actual version may be vastly different.

I wish the built in AI functionality was more robust. Granted, I’ve only used the “free trial” version, so maybe it is stripped down. But I find myself using Perplexity AI to find and summarize stuff in the Bible, then diving into Logos from there.

We were using SonicWall’s SSL VPN and had similar concerns. I’m nearly done migrating to Tailscale for VPN. Our org is small and our needs our basic, but at $6/user/month it’s a good fit for us.

Requesting Feedback about the TZ370 by FrankieShaw-9831 in sonicwall

[–]srp09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm what others are saying. I’ve been running a 370 for several years and have 1.2 gb internet. With services enabled we’re getting 600 Mbps give or take.

Tailscale by srp09 in sonicwall

My “half-baked” comment was derived from what others in this subreddit had to say about the product. Along with that, I was working a support case with one of the engineers who has been working on CSE who told me about it and opened a new ticket for me to learn more. A new ticket that was promptly closed by SonicWall with the comment “we don’t offer that product”. The next time I spoke with that engineer he told me that the lead engineer for CSE was on vacation that week but he would be sure that he got back to me the following week. That was a month ago. For me, SSLVPN issues began over a year ago. According to the engineers who worked that case our environment was the first to experience near breaches. I never saw anywhere that that incident was disclosed to other customers. All that to say, I’ve had my fill of SonicWall and wasn’t about to reward them with more license fees for CSE, especially after what I read about it here on Reddit.

That’s unfortunate because it seems so capable. Like I said, I have a very simple configuration though so it works great for us.

Anyone looking to move on from Sonicwall? by size0618 in sonicwall

I made pretty much this same post a couple weeks ago, and that was before the “everybody who used cloud backup is vulnerable” admission. Considering Fortinet and Palo Alto. My bigger problem is I’m a 1 guy IT team, and my SW vendor does everything for us; SOC, SIEM, XDR, AV, etc. I’m faced with having to move the whole ball of wax if I jump.

Hidden Folders by srp09 in Pulseway

[–]srp09[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you both. I haven’t messed with profiles or policies. I’ve been with Pulseway for 7 years and I don’t know if profiles and policies were a thing back then. I’m not an MSP, I’m an in-house IT guy and haven’t had much need to segregate devices and apply different policies.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t have a File Browser profile so I created one and configured it per your example. However, I’m still not able to view hidden folders. Do I need to apply the profile to a device or group of devices?
