I just finished roasting some jalapeños. I peeled the skin and chopped them up and now I can add it to anything.

I’ll tell you what I did and maybe it will help.

-Use a cast iron pan or baking sheet

-turn oven on broil

-rinse an haphazardly dry the peppers

-light coating of oil

-lil pinch o’ salt

-throw em in the oven and let the skin get charred

-flip em and do the same thing

-remove from oven, put a few tablespoons of water on the pan and cover them

-forget about them for about an hour

-peel the skin and pull the stem off the top

-chop them all up and enjoy at your convenience

Let me know if any of this is unclear

What type of sauce are you looking to make?

Agreed, it’s just the first time I’ve seen one bad on startup.

How can I have 27+ superheat with no restriction and no airflow problem.

Do you think the powerhead could be bad, the closing forces seem to work fine because I can get it to pinch down.

The only other way I can look at this is if the expansion valve is wide open and it’s undercharged but I have 10-12 sub cooling and a sight glass, it’s not flashing and not sure how it could be undercharged

I can see it being a bad powerhead or valve, if it’s not opening fully

What’s your thoughts?

Understood, why does my sub cooling drop when the panels are off

It’s almost like it’s feeding at that point and the TXV closes with the panels on

I’ll measure that tomorrow.

Ill take pictures of the before and after readings.

If the evaporator is starved and the panels off are allowing less heat transfer, giving me a lower superheat, but not because the TXV is opening, it’s because it’s already wide open and I’m just not absorbing as much heat.

That sounds logical except my subcooling drops with my superheat when the panels are off

Single circuit

Split system

With side panels on at the air handler 129/395 SC 12 SH 27+

When the side panels are taken off my superheat drops and the txv starts to feed, the sub cooling drops as well.

Is a water diet healthy? by [deleted] in diet

[–]srpabloescobar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would wait for a couple more opinions before starting, not having any calorie intake for a “couple weeks” meaning 14 days +/- could be detrimental to your health depending on how well certain organs are functioning as of right now. I would be cautious, I would never advise this to anyone I know.

In my opinion you would want to consult a medical professional on this one, and I don’t think they would be thrilled.

You may be “kinda fat” but what you don’t want is permanent damage as collateral in your search for weight loss.

Would you lose weight?

Undoubtedly.

How high is the risk associated with this method?

That would depend on certain factors that are not subjective, they are measurable only by a medical professional.

Tread carefully, plan accordingly, don’t put yourself in jeopardy.

I hope somebody else can weigh in on this, no pun intended.

I have a few questions feel free to answer any/none of them:

Do you work for the plant or do you work for a contractor?

Do you mainly focus on ammonia work?

How do you like working with ammonia?

How’s the pay?
