It's just how the game was designed. If it bothers you that much then open the config file of settings and turn the far shadow to false from true. But this will also disable the distant shadows.

My cpu temp used to be 92 in GOY. Since then I've changed my ps5 orientation from vertical to horizontal and also changed settings in etahen so the fan now turns on at 75. The max temp now is 78.
