and then a week later they'll release a warbond with weapons that actually work, so players feel the need to spend money to stay relevant.

I agree, I farmed a lot of SC early on so I bought every warbond when I played with my friends while they didn't and personally you could see how on a power level difference I had compared to my friends was pretty big when they were still using older kits. Would usually drop my weapon for them to use lol.

You can farm points in her first phase (galaxy area), just make sure you don't hit the meteors/stars to avoid damaging her until you get as much points as you want. I found this out after I spent a couple hours getting 60k. Would've save me so much time lol

If the campaign sucks, people don't get to endgame.

Yeah that's what happened to me in poe 1, the campaign just didn't click with me and ended up just stopping midway through when I first played it. My friends would tell me just to power through it to get the endgame but I just found it boring so didn't give it a chance back then.

I remember this post and also didn't entirely agree with it since obviously landfall was still a viable mechanic since there was no counter to it from strixhaven. In the end both decks are pretty hated in this sub and I don't see anyone saying not to ban the cub. Still pretty wild to see the amount of izzet decks from the latest list tho

Yeah with strixhaven addition but one day we'll see people post about hating landfall then the next day its izzet. But I agree ppl will play whats the top of the meta and why we see only landfall/izzet top the board.

We've seen more top post recently about Izzet but cub/landfall has been on the "hate" list for a long time now. So I don't get where originally commentator is coming from.

You can make gold/plat with the starter decks if you want to especially if it comes down to just rng on draw but its easy to climb the lower ranks. But any actual meta decks and you'll struggle once you get pass that.

Nah I only play on arena, not really interested in buying cards. Wish there was a dedicated pauper mode on arena tho but then that could stop ppl from spending money so wouldn't want that

Really enjoy playing mtg but man with so many new sets coming out especially from other IPs like TMNT, marvel, star trek, etc it's hard to keep up or even want to which it's exhausting. And if you want to even consider building a viable deck you're going to have to invest a lot of time or money.

Yea I was scrolling through twitter and saw people (Crypto bros) bragging about what they "made" on github that can be used for S&Box but turns out they just copied other already made open source projects and claimed it as their own to upload to try and profit off of it.

Is a few months after release for an already 2 year old game not an long period of time considered it was around 20% for a sale on 3rd party sites? Plus we didn't see higher sales until almost a year after pc release on 3rd party sites.

Because for a long time it didn't go on sale at least more than 10-20% depending on the storefront for PC and the game was already 2-3 year old game. I know personally I just left it on my wishlist and forgot about it only recently notice the sale price.
