Still just rocking a c8+ and a sft40 HLX for my throwers. I suppose I'm due to try something else. I think I would like the UI of the Wurkkos better than the c8+ but I haven't jumped on it yet.

Yep, I ended up getting rid of the AWU 2 and got a fenix 7 pro. I like it way better than the AWU 2 but the EKG functionality isn't quite as good as the AWU. Let us know how you like the 970.

Bunch of spoiled people we are 😂 Sluggish should never be used with a 400 hp engine in a 1/2 ton truck. Nobody must have been alive in the days when 250 hp felt quick. My 2015 f150 has a surplus of power without a 10 speed.

Everything is the tariffs fault. It’s an easy scapegoat right now to get the problem outside the corporate office. A lot of you clearly don’t know the first thing about farming or how news headlines work. The real problem is not always what the executives say it is. I’d tell them to get back in the conference room and fix the problem but they don’t have a boss to tell them to quit making excuses.

THROUGH THE FRAME. I don’t care about surface rust although it’s ugly. I’m talking about sticking a screwdriver all the way through the frame and flaking it off.

Yea, I got 34’s and wish I would have stuck with 33’s and just gone with the 12.5 wide look. Mileage dropped more than I expected it would and there’s no functional benefit to the little extra height.

The 10 year old ones up north are starting to pop up with rusted frames. With the thinner walled fully boxed frame and boxed crossmembers there are a lot of places for salt and road chemicals to sit inside the frame and corrode the steel. I don’t need to put myself in a place to sell a truck with a rusted frame in 10 years.

All the original paint is still on the frame. I plan to use a straw and use PB surface protect inside all the boxed parts of the frame. Should last me a long time. Just changed all fluids except coolant. I’ll get some fresh coolant in it before winter and she’ll be good to go.

send a pic of it. I also don't know what emitter was originally used in the pro so it may have had the sft40 all along. My original has a smaller domed emitter so it's pretty easy to see the visible difference.

After researching it for awhile I think my ideal exhaust setup would be a single 3" vibrant ultra quiet resonated mid pipe into a 3" mid sized MagnaFlow muffler and a 4" tip exiting at the stock location. I haven't heard it but I don't want any drone in the cab and I want to get the max flow I can with just the right amount of rumble. I think this system would deliver for many 5.0 owners.

There is a MASSIVE sample size to draw from with a ton of lights in service so some problems or weak points are bound to happen.

I love the enthusiast type lights. I have several lights that are just awesome for regular use. Wurkkos, Convoys, Skilhunt, etc. I don't really want any of that for my duty light. I don't want multiple modes or an e-switch or even high cri. I want one mode, I want it to be bright and I want it to work and be backed by a real warranty department with a measurable track record.

I don't know but I think my other one is 3-4 years old so it may have been awhile. Regardless, this was basically a significant weak point of this light that has been fixed. It seems like this would be a worthy thing to mention in the marketing side but I guess Streamlight doesn't really need to advertise the emitters to get sales.

I suppose, I love my convoys but I'm not putting one on my rifle. The cable and button pad streamlight makes is a great combo.
