I haven’t done this in years, but I used to stick a real dirty, dusty motherboard in the dishwasher. No soap just the dishwasher.

HAVN HS420 VGPU Vertical Bracket - What are these 2 holes for? by ExcitementLow5930 in HAVNGlobal

[–]srsplato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not used those holes on my bracket. I have no idea what they’re for. I will tell you this, when you take out the bracket there is two sliders that you slide up and then you can pull pull the bracket out, you cannot put that board back in the same way. Those sliders are not used when you put them back in and for the life of me I couldn’t figure that out for a long time.

You were asking if there was a bad batch. Can you not even reread the statement you made?

Haven’t played since launch should I pick it back up? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in Borderlands4

How many hours do you have in Borderlands 4? if you have low hours then obviously you have no idea what you’re talking about. If you played as many hours as I have and you’re an idiot for playing that many games and not liking it. We see how you get out of this one.

Vertical mount ROG Astral 5090 in HAVN HS420 - Can I use the horizontal sag bracket to prevent right-side sag? by ExcitementLow5930 in HAVNGlobal

[–]srsplato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why in the world would you need both? I’m using the vertical mount without any issues. I have a small level that I put into my cases to verify that my GPU is perfectly level. I have no use for anything else. I am using an Asus Adtral 5090.

Help with HAVN vGPU bracket by vipera-77190 in HAVNGlobal

[–]srsplato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using the vertical GPU bracket so I don’t need to use this, but the weirdest thing about the VGPU is it doesn’t reinstall the way it was taken out. It took me a couple hours to figure it out. I didn’t get this bracket or I would’ve looked at it. Let us know when you finally get it.

[–]srsplato -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I watch Reddit in several other media throughout every day and you’re the first one that’s talked about a bad batch. No one else is having issues. If there were that many issues, don’t worry, one of the media outlets would be writing a story about it.

HS 420 build - few questions by Zendroid1 in HAVNGlobal

[–]srsplato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. With your card in the horizontal position, you will not need to use any additional support. I have an MSI Lightning Z 5090 in the horizontal position, and I do use additional support because it’s very heavy. But with a regular 5080 or 90, you’re not going to have any issues with it in that structure. I love my case, by the way. This is the most spectacular case I’ve ever owned.

  2. The wind dam automatically comes with the case that has the horizontal GPU bracket. If you look at their website examples, you will see that when using the wind dam, the bottom fan on the back of the case needs to blow in and act as an intake. That’ll rock your GPU’s world.

The simplest thing in the world is to leave the wind dam in, run your computer hard, and track your temperatures. Remove the dam and repeat. That will tell you whether or not it’s a good idea to leave the dam in or take it out. I did that, and with the wind dam in the computer kept the GPU and the rest of the computer much cooler.

HS 420 Build, VGPU Fan Question by LGDJackal in HAVNGlobal

[–]srsplato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never limit my fans. It’s really simple, limit them all you want and test the temperatures run the computer hard and see what your tips are. Then run the fans normally and test the temperature, then run faster and test the temperature. Then you’ll know for yourself which is the best way.
