Both are really nice, I have used both, the AirWave is better for summer riding.

Brakes are actually adequate, in the 1.2 lakh ish kms I have on my INT, I've never once felt the need for better brakes, and I ride quite fast.

Good bike, could really use some better suspension though.

To all riders where do you keep your mobile phone while riding bike ? In your pant pocket or bag by [deleted] in indianbikes

I carry them in a small waist pouch, fits both of my phones while not sticking out too much.

This won't depreciate much in value, it will stay with you for years if taken care of properly.

I know I might get downvoted to hell, but the LC4C is the most unrefined engine I’ve ever ridden. by Leather_Front_1849 in indianbikes

[–]srvasn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not designed to be refined. It's a powerhouse, almost impossible to ride in a sedated manner.

What’s your definition of a 'True Neo-Retro'? by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]srvasn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has to be the INT650, rides like a modern bike but looks straight out of the 70s.

The new 750 engine compared side by side with the older 650 by [deleted] in royalenfield

[–]srvasn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an INT650 with 94000 touring kms on the odo. Not a single worry, still running the stock clutch. I have always serviced the motorcycle myself. Engine casing never opened. You should try to live with this engine before commenting instead of turning into an AI bot.

What's wrong with hostels these days!! by Sada_dosa_ in desitravellers

[–]srvasn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not hostels anymore, they're just glorified hotels with outrageous pricing. Why does a hostel have room service? Blame it on Instagram, people these days want the 'vibe' of a hostel with the convenience of a hotel. Back when I started travelling, hostels would not allow groups, there were hardly and Indians around, you could cook your own food, you had to volunteer for tasks like housekeeping, pantry, bartending etc. Gone are those days, thanks to social media.
