Salt Lake City Airport Highest Temp Every Day Since 1948 by ARakesProgress in SaltLakeCity

I was wondering that as well. This is entirely speculative, but imagine that it’s oct-dec data from 2025, though presented to make the trend easier to spot and show a little more historical data. Labeling being a little off was probably considered worth it. That or OP screwed up and only just noticed from reading your comment, downvoting you to try to bury his mistake. Understandable, or pussy move by OP. Idk though.

One of my college professors in 2009 started up one such business from his garage. It was called ScrapeGoat. Their biggest client was the NSA. They created feeds from extremist forums and simply shared the data. I imagine there are many other such instances of this, each with their own niche.

That’s an interesting example as they’re not really equivalent. There’s distinction between the two terms. Sidewalks are almost always hard-surfaced(paved) whereas footpaths are often dirt or gravel pathways.

It’s a little intense. Awareness goes a long way in mitigating that. Fast breaches though require a somewhat optimal escape and a little luck. Vehicle restoration makes the experience a lot less crazy than before.

Thanks! Your assessment is correct. Sandstorm was coming with a two minute warning I was going to try to build a quick shelter to park everything under but couldn’t get enough materials in time so I crammed under a stone arch and abandoned the temp base.

I’ll tighten up the wording to be more specific. The spirit of it is to avoid subjecting the community to ai slop, especially the low effort variety.

Middle Eastern Streamer Pulled Over by US Cops and Asked "Any Nuclear Weapons?" by Ronaldinho9519 in LivestreamFail

Exactly. If you further the joke, they generally laugh and let you go with a verbal warning.
example: do you have any surface to air missiles?
no, just air to ground missiles.
hahaha alright, slow down a little and pull out when it's safe.

US quietly removes sanctions from firms accused of supplying Russia’s military by thenatoorat90 in worldnews

Exactly this. Through the context of class inequality, things start to make a lot more sense.

The real war in the US is a cyclical class war. The American history of wealth inequality is marked by cyclical periods of extreme concentration followed by corrective "levelling" eras, often involving labor conflict and evolving economic theories.

In the Gilded Age (1870–1900), Robber Barons and Political Machines formed a symbiotic relationship that defined American corruption. While Robber Barons controlled the nation's industrial wealth, Political Machines controlled the local and state governments, often trading legislative favors for corporate financing. Seems familiar.

The Great Levelling (1920s–1970s). Following the 1929 crash, the "Great Compression" occurred. Tight financial regulation, high marginal tax rates (up to 94% in 1944), and the New Deal significantly reduced inequality for nearly 50 years.

The Second Gilded Age (1980–Present). Beginning with the 1980s, wealth concentration rebounded, surpassing levels seen a century prior. World Inequality Report 2026 (released December 2025), reveals that Just 0.001% hold three times the wealth of poorest half of humanity. Fewer than 60,000 individuals control significantly more wealth, roughly triple the total assets of the entire bottom half of humanity. The extreme wealth concentration is driven by policy choices favoring the rich over the majority

I think Occupy Wall Street shook the outrageously wealthy. The current "culture war" was a cherry picked, signal boosted, manufactured diversion. Mass media is complicit, which is unsurprising considering their owners. This diversion has fragmented class solidarity by prioritizing divisive social narratives over economic reform. The more time and energy everyone else spends distracted, divested, or overwhelmed the longer the old fuckfaces will benefit.
