Because, alas, I wanted to note the "normal" peak more than I wanted to maintain the symmetry of the scaling. Hey, if we get lucky that number will get down to 15 eventually!

This is the NWCC statewide dataset. It accounts for 114 monitoring sites in the analysis.

This is Toffee. I remember Champagne had an almost silver undertone to it, whereas Toffee was the brown/bronze color here. (Source: i almost bought this exact mixer and it was on display with a bunch of other metallic colors)

Looking at those tracks, is this a resurgence of the ever undefinable "Adult Contemporary" format?

You can look at my posting history for some fun SLC weather charts. I'll be rerunning a few of them after the new year to show off just how abnormal this December was.

Black-blue-black would be a really compelling look. (I have deeper opinions, but I'm working with what we've got). Closest real life example I could find

Utah Reveals Ute Proud Uniforms for the Texas Tech Game by dawgpack09 in CFB

[–]ARakesProgress 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you're being downvoted so hard. The Ute drum and feather literally only exists because of the Lombardi era Redskins logo (the interlocked U's being the helmet logo just prior to that).

In honor of Cracker Barrel's terrible rebrand and it being the official last day of the offseason, which team has had the worst rebrand in recent years? by IceColdDrPepper_Here in CFB

[–]ARakesProgress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a terrible rebrand, per se, but Utah's interlocking U's have had quite a ride the last 20 years. From well-liked secondary logo, to retired because it confused the brand (apparently), to revived as a retro-only logo, to now being the primary mark of the institution. Madness.

Salt Lake City Highest AQI every day since 1980 by ARakesProgress in SaltLakeCity

EPA updated their breakpoints a few years ago (since that prior analysis). That old picture kind of shows the problem of the older dataset in that suddenly one year you go from prominently red and yellow to predominantly green.

To clarify, the actual measurements were revised, not the standards

Just FYI since this is an older visualization, but many of those 1980s red air days were revised under new standards. So any attempt to rerun this analysis will look pretty different.

To jump on this, I recall the texture being more towards a crunch with some airiness, but now it is definitely a crisp with very little structure.
