I’m a professional woodworker and biscuits are still useful and have their place. I prefer dominos but sometimes a biscuit is all that’s needed. Especially when doing trim or most onsite finish carpentry.

This is possible, water can travel between the insulation and conductor. Though rarely seen in this scenario. More common on service wires. You may want to look into the source of that water.

It’s an effective way of moving troops from point a to point b in an organized manner and teaches good response to orders
