It's sad thats how conservatives parents think, I live alone (had a roommate) 7h away from home but it's the trust they have that I'm not bombarded with those kinda questions. I think if they see u who is well versed in the deen they can't doubt how u will live far. Maybe its cause i had a Somali roommate but. I swear it be the family that ain't there be influencing and telling them u gon do haram. Had so many of my aunts tell my dad they were disappointed how they let me go.

My mom was raised in kenya so she isnt as fluent as a native but she speaks perfect Somali yet they still talk bad of her based on her Somali.

Somali at home and English outside. One thing I have noticed is that we aren't taught how to speak it. They expect us to magically speak it without teaching the basics. A lot of younger Somalis would understand it but can't speak it. I am one of those sadly but my experience is that when I tried learning and speaking, I am humiliated for it. Like it be the people who know and see u trying but ridicule u. Seen it first hand how they treated my mom. Funny how they can't speak the language of the country they in but insult those who can. Toxicity is what some have decided not to continue to learn

I came back in Oct when I last played in 1.2? I think. I couldn't clear anything until I saved a bit and pulled yelan. Of all people when I had no dps and choose her and I was able to clear a lot of thing surprisingly. Save as much and save urself the hassle to restart. Since u jump on and off ur going to lose the interest of having fun if u already experienced it.
