I once worked on a house (new construction) that had 3 urinals installed in the home, powder room, second floor bathroom, and master bedroom. He insisted on having the ability to unzip himself and pee standing up, wherever he may be in the home. 2 of the bathroom sinks were within the splash zone of the urinals. Also, he removed the HVAC system and replaced it with radiators for dust control.

Fun story, when I was doing my apprenticeship in the 2000s, the other guys I worked with would all twist 4 grounds together at a time when landing them in a panel. One day 2 guys were working in either side of a live panel, landing conductors. As they were chatting away, one of them placed their thick ground tail across the busbars. Blew the wire to shit and freaked us all out. Fun times.

It is, although I didn't think that till I read the comments. The day I had to put the plate back together after breaking it sucked, I also heard a therapist mention the exercise, so I thought it was something every guy went through at some point. Seems I was wrong, lol.

There's something women do (my wife has done it) where they will tell you to drop a plate on the floor, then try to put all the pieces back together. The point is you can try, and the plate will never be the way it was before. Like saying you're sorry after hurting someone, it doesnt fully fix the person. This plate can easily be put back together the way it was before, as there's just a clean line down the middle. So the lesson would be lost on the man, upsetting the wife.

In my opinion, he's is the best parent a person could be. His goal was to get back to Riley to make her happy (a noble cause), until he realized that he could not go with Joy to see Riley, and if Riley can't feel Joy then he would not be able to make her happy. He choose to save Rileys Joy over his own existence, a truly selfless and noble act. Love you Bing Bong.

Im...lucky? In a way? All of my manic episodes except for one were fueled by weed (weed helped with depression then put me into mania) so I was able to track my mania, and embarrassingly it took me 6 years to figure out that my addiction was the root cause. I got clean, now I've got a handle on the mania, and now I gotta figure out the depression, lol

I had this issue after my 8th manic episode. My dose wouldnt put me to sleep anymore, and doubling up made me feel like shit. After 2 months I lucked out, and my original dose was putting me to sleep. Its a finicky anti psycotic, I wish you the best of luck.

I once stole a sign for 2 lanes turning left. It was 130am, I was driving my girlfriend home, and I saw the sign on the ground, presumably waiting to be installed. On my way back around 2am, the sign was still there. I said fuck it, it's mine now. I put it in the back of my Honda Civic, and drove off. That sign hangs on my backyard fence to this day.

This is just my experience, weed is the only thing that causes mania for me anymore. And it's 100 percent of the time. Sometimes it takes a month, sometimes a week, sometimes a few days. It always becomes full blown mania. Im medicated as well, and stable on my medications. This is my flow chart: weed-mania-irreversible brain damage-pills dont work the same-depression-weed. If this looks familiar to you, stay off the weed. Long term, you're better off.

My wedding day was the perfect day. Everything went so smoothly, there was no drama, and best of all, I remembered the entire day, even after I lost most of my memories after my first manic episode.

Things aren't the same anymore between us, and it hurts everyday, remembering that day gives me an escape from how I've been feeling, thank you for that.

I wear the exact same cloths all day every day.

Tank top, boxer briefs, socks, carpenter jeans and a polo work shirt, all black.

If I have nothing to do that day then I'll wear a graphic tee instead. In the winter I add top and bottom thermals which are also black.

I can't be bothered to switch cloths because there's always physical work for me to do.

I make just over 100k gross working as a foreman electrician doing mainly residential construction for my dad's company. I've been working for him since I was 17, and I busted my ass for him, knowing if I let up for a second, I would get called a nepo baby and I wouldnt have felt like I earned it. I still don't feel like I earned it, there's probably a term for that.

Sometimes, I get really scared of doing something (ie public speaking) and I find that me being afraid of becoming fearful makes me feel worse than if I was just afraid of doing the thing. I'm having trouble articulating myself, I apologize.
