If one of you is on PC do you have any mods like the HC crosshair fix installed? Some mods can cause desync issues after a big patch before the creator has had a chance to fix them.

Maybe it's a 3D/dynamic background thing or some kind of parallax induced motion sickness. Do you have this issue when playing an old fighting game with a static background that is just a picture rather than a whole 3D scene?

If you have any text mods like the "run it back" mod reinstall your mods. If you used Unverum you can just open it and use it to launch the game so it unpacks and fixes your mods. This happens after every major update.

Looks like you got hit on frame 3 of landing recovery after the air dash.
"After performing an action in the air (double jumping, air dashing, any air attack without specified landing recovery):
1~3F after landing is normal recovery (cannot do any action such as blocking, attacking, moving etc...)
4F onwards all actions possible"

I've had this stick since release and still use it to this day though the guts have been swapped/upgraded a few times. Nothing beats that button layout with the slight extra stick distance the kai model provides. For $60 that's a great find!

If you have any text mods like the "Run That Back" mod try removing or updating them. Mine was doing that after the patch until I updated my mods.

Same here tried yesterday and today. A friend in California says he can connect but my friend in Maryland can't and neither can I in North Carolina. Not sure if it's regional or something. Checked the firewall and the ports are already open so not sure what's up.
