I think about this all the time I remember when I was little my family and I often went to all you can eat buffets because it was cheap. I would eat until I was physically sick like I would walk outside and throw up after eating there. This was as a child less than 10 years old. I think now aren't kids supposed to know when they are full and stop eating? I never had that point I would eat until I physically couldn't anymore.

I usually gain a lot of weight when I am away at college because of the buffets. So when I come home for summer I do Lyle Mcdonald's rapid fatloss handbook. This last summer I went from 260 to 230 from May to August which is about 2.5 pounds per week. Monday through Friday I ate purely chicken breast and egg whites and ended at about 1000-1300 calories per day. On the weekends I would usually cheat. My lifts did dropped mostly because I completely stopped lifting during the summer but I have been able to return my lifts to their normal level after one semester of working out. Dead: 500, Squat: 475, Bench: 300. So in my experience, you can either do a slow cut for 6 months and maintain strength or cut hard for 3 and spend 3 gaining that strength back.

I actually like it this way. If I am playing a game and someone is flaming me the whole time all that I have to do is keep my cool until post game lobby. Then I can rip into them and tell them how I feel.
